Kill them by walking up to them like a badass and shooting them. Also stockpiled dynamite from slain powder gangers helps.

Level up a lot more and get bigger guns.

Grand Theft Auto V trailer to release November 2!

http://www.rockstargames.com/

S&Wshooter 10-31-2011 04:54 AM

According to an issue of Time magazine I was reading the other day, Tom Cruise is going to play Jack Reacher in a movie.

WTF was the casting director thinking? Jack Reacher is 6 foot fucking 5 inches tall and built like a damn brick house. The books even admit that's why he's able to beat the overloving hell out of anyone who messes with him. So why cast an actor who's not even that muscular OR somewhat tall OR sorta resembles Reacher?

From what you described him and what I have read off of Wikipedia, would Alexander Skarsgard be a good pick?

Well, you may be stuck with it for a while yet because I doubt we'll see GTA V released before 2013.

Just hope no catastrophic earthquakes strike and result in California becoming the world's largest unwalled prison before then. :D

Dolph Lundgren would be best. Reacher is getting into his mid-forties now, and I bet he looks a bit rough after being a drifter for so long

Am I the only person who actually liked Watchmen?

No, I thought it was pretty cool.

Excalibur 11-03-2011 01:26 AM

It's ok for the most part

I think it was about as good as it could be. The writers couldn't deviate too far from the source, which held the film back.

funkychinaman 11-03-2011 02:14 PM

The second infographic makes me sad.

Payed off Skyrim and bought the disk-based version of the GTA IV episodes last Thursday

I'm making myself finish off GTA IV next. It's been long enough.

That was the first GTA series I've actually played. I've seen the others, but never had time for them

I'm a bit afraid to tackle it. GTA III and Vice City absolutely consumed me. All these sandbox games consume me to a certain extent, but III and VC were the worst. I have no idea how much time I'm going to spend on it.

k9870 11-08-2011 05:54 AM

playn mw3 tomorrow after i vote.

Vice City is often said to be the best in the series. IV has the problem that the developers seem terrified that you won't see everything, so there's this annoying "friend" system to try to force you to play minigames and such, and I'm not kidding when I say the entire first island and about half the second is tutorial missions.

That's the first time I've heard of someone complaining of a film not deviating from the source material.

I don't mind trimming the fat a bit to help the pacing. Branaugh's version of Hamlet was four freakin' hours, but didn't cut anything. Olivier's Hamlet was a bit more than two hours and won Best Picture.

There's only so much you can pack into two hours.

k9870 11-08-2011 08:36 PM

Mw3 is sick, didn't exactly set up for a mw4 though.

Online i get m16 right off my favorite gun doesn't even need to be unlocked:D

Question: How do you kill Deathclaws in Fallout: New Vegas? Does armor piercing ammo work?

How do you kill a Deathclaw?

However you can

Level up, get bigger guns and just keep on shooting until they are dead

Sneak criticals using the Hunting rifle or the Anti-Material Rifle from a distance

The Grease Gun with armor-piercing rounds while screaming Die Motherfucker, Die!! seem to work well enough.
Although I'd invest in an AT rifle and some exploives if you're becoming a serious hunter.

S&Wshooter 11-09-2011 02:13 AM

I'm getting pretty damn close to just not playing online multiplayer again

Let's hope this reboot is more like BSG and Hawaii Five-0 and less like Bionic Woman and Charlies Angels.

And when are we going to get a Miami Vice reboot?

k9870 11-09-2011 04:50 AM

i went to the quarry and climbed the big metal thing where thy cant follow and leuisurely picked them off, i also mini nuked like 8 at once.

Spartan198 11-10-2011 12:43 AM

Just got Saints Row 2 and HAWX 2 on the cheap. I liked the first Saints Row but never got around to buying it and I'm in need of a decent current-gen fighter plane flight sim.

And I finally got that 360 gb HDD (that I bought back in August) into my PS3 a few days ago, so I have a lot of space to use. If I run out of space on this HDD, it means I have too many games on PS3. XD

I can't find my 120 gb Hard Drive fro my 360, so I'm stuck with my 24 gb that I have been using since I first got an Xbox

Evil Tim 11-10-2011 06:00 AM

One of the great things about the PS3 is it uses the same 3.5" SATA drives that you put in laptops. There's people out there with 1 terabyte PS3s.

Spartain, you're going to be disappointed with HAWX 2. It's really not that good.

S&Wshooter 11-10-2011 06:02 AM

I borrowed my brother's copy of BF3 and have been playing it for a while. I like it much, much better than the Bad Company games

Fuck all the vehicle missions they make you do, though

You know there's a new Ace Combat game, right?

Evil Tim 11-10-2011 11:50 AM

I love how the Daily Mail went nuts over MW3 depicting "black ops style soldiers" in London and it turns out the guys in all their pictures are actually the SAS.

Aside from finding out that the fighters from EndWar (A-20 Razorback, EF Hailstorm, Su-38 Slamhound) aren't in it, I'm actually quite happy with it.

Didn't have the money for it. Besides, try pulling off this in Ace Combat. ;)

BeardedHoplite 11-10-2011 11:20 PM

I'm going to the Skyrim midnight release tonight. It is going to be 28 degrees in Chicago. Good thing Cabelas has a huge sale on fleece and Dunkin' Donuts makes their coffee so hot.

Excalibur 11-11-2011 03:38 AM

I've been playing MW3 and it is pretty good

Swordfish941 11-11-2011 04:02 AM

I might buy Gears of War 2 this week. It's pretty much impossible to beat the first one (fucking General Ramm and his Kryll).
