The Expendables

Just got back from watching it and yeah it is awesome!

Same here. I wasn't expecting the guns to be realistic but at least it wasn't too over the top.

The biggest bits of craziness to spot was how the AA-12 fired way more than 20 rounds, Sly can fire off his 1911s pretty fast (but I doubt he could do that with live ammo), when Sly does three reloads on his .45 with one hand with speed a little too crazy for a single column mag well gun, and I highly doubt he can actually fan off six shots from his SAA that fast.

I was debating whether or not to see it tomorrow, but you may have just convinced me to.

Sly's 1911s sounded like they were doing burst fire. I'm sure it was probably done in post production.

That AA-12 was some serious shit.

I was looking forward to hearing how loud the AA-12 was supposed to be, but they used the same sound effect as the pistols with a steady rate of fire. Not to mention the shotgun is shown throwing people and chopping them in half, which doesn't surprise me as Sly directed the movie, and much like in Rambo (2008), he believes anything like that is a man mashing monster.

Well Lungren's grenade launcher in the beginning blew 2 guys into pieces. They were missing their upper bodies.

It was tactically epic. The whole movie kicked ass.
