.45 LC semiauto?

Are there any semiautomatic handguns out there that are chambered for the .45 Long Colt? I know that auto-loaders that use rimmed cartridges generally don't do well, but has anyone made the attempt?

Normal Colt .45 loadings are roughly equivalent to a modern .45 ACP, so there is really no point in using the larger rimmed round over the easier to work with .45 ACP. You do get speciality hot loadings of the .45 Colt that are up there with a .44 Magnum, but if you want this kind of power you would just use a .44 as it is much more available along with being chambered in some semi-autos like the Desert Eagle.

Or just get a handgun chambered in the .45 Winchester Magnum round. Yeah they are rare but they eliminate the feeding issues that come with Rimmed cases.
