All five have the same message:

Dear, undertoe;Krel;achmed;lemhead;Trijicon!

A virus alert was noticed on your computer.
We highly recommend you to check your computer and perform online virus check at our site immediately: http://security-tool2010.com/underto...mhead;Trijicon

Pretty inventive with the names, but the subject titles, and messages got kinda' repetitious.

David.

We need to combine all spammer topics we've made into one topic, title it "Spammer Reports", and pin it.

They've all been terminated. We can't block their attacks since they create accounts from different IP addresses and appear to be human at first .... that's why we use the DOGS to sniff them out ... you can't be too sure.

I'm pretty sure that we Wolves couldn't stomach a spammer as we have our standards and fresh Grizzly Bear tastes much better. I've just been hit by three of them and I really would love to know why they are targeting us?

MT2008 02-10-2010 02:55 PM

Christ, I just deleted a million of these goddamned spammer posts. This problem just keeps getting worse. I'm starting to think we need to temporarily prevent new members from joining.

Mandolin1 02-10-2010 11:28 PM

Just block anyone from joining for a few months. Explain the problem and tell them to come back later

Spartan198 02-13-2010 08:26 AM

Got another one. Probably one that registered prior to Chris making new members administrator approval only. But when I tried to look at his profile, I got an error message saying I didn't have permission to access the page. Don't understand why.

Anyway, he sent me yet another of those "virus activity detected on your computer" PMs under the username Hummannic. I looked this one up on a spammer database website and came up with positive results.

Don't know how he got through, but when I moved to BAN him, he was already banned by another MOD. Some of the mods move really fast

Delete that message right away, click on nothing. Nothing more to do now that he's already toast.

Zulu Two Six 02-27-2010 11:24 PM

i did, and i do.
i dont want to find out what will happen.
my dad already got a spam email at his office and it crashed all the computers at his office (he runs a doctors (OBGYN) office and it crashed the total of 4 computers there, no biggie) but he got the network back up and working thankfully.
