Gah,
I hate spammers They've gotten past our filters again and I am getting PM's from people offering me everything from fake ID's to their sister's virture.

As much as some of the things offered would be very fun I realy didn't ask for such things. Hopefully the spammers soon find someone tattooing eyes on the small of their back.

I've been spammed by a Russian guy and a guy selling fake ID's.

Ones trying to sell me a fake Canadian passport.

Apparently I need a fake German Diplomatic Passport.

I've gotten that message 3 times already

Why the hell would ANYONE need a fake Moldavan passport? It's running neck and neck with Kosovo for the title of "Poorest Country in Europe."

Well the mods are saying to post the names of the spammers so that they may properly feel the joys of the banhammer.

Ah. I just delete the messages without looking.

I PMed MT yesterday about the guy offering fake passports and stuff, he's been banhammered.

"antiosuwas" has been banned.

"Promedoff." Messages in Russian on an English site, can't see it being a legit user. Plus the "pro med off" part.

The spammers on IMFDB are getting more sophisticated. The last guy actually uploaded an image.

Your talking about on the wiki? Yeah they do that occasionally.

I've never seen that before. You got the page and the spammer, but you missed the image.

I can't delete it yet. When I click on the image it acts like I'm logged out. The ones before I didn't have that problem. Not sure what it is.

I know i am seeing alot of spammer accounts but they do not post anything and some of them I think get fried on creation. Usually it's just some nonsense name that vanishes into the night.

"Attewmedy" is a new member to this forum, so has helpfully sent me some links that will START MY WEB HOSTING. I assume the links would tell me how to run a guest house for spiders.

Also just spotted "JD0556" in the user list. Might want to give that one a ban / not bother to approve it.

Not up to me. I have moderator rights on the forum, not administrator. As far as I know he hasn't done any vandalism with his new account. We'll see.
