Consolidating obscure gun pages?

I was thinking that maybe for some of the more obscure guns on IMFDB we might want to consolidate that pages so we have one page for the whole series. For example, I did a few pages today along this format, one for all the Gasser revolvers, another for both French M1935 pistols (these are separate firearms, one is not a variant of the other), and so on. For example I added a few non-1895 variants to the Nagant M1895 page, I was thinking it would be better to re-title it Nagant revolvers and reformat it along the lines of the Thompson and M1911 pages.

Good Idea, as long as people don't get confused and start making pages for guns we already have. But then we can't control that anyway.

Yeah, I agree. I think it would be a good idea. But how to catalog the consolidated pages, though? Considering they might have guns from separate makers and such on them.

Well, I would think you'd make the consolidated pages according to a fairly obvious theme, like the Gasser revolvers page. Another example might be Solid Frame Webleys, which could cover the Bulldog, RIC, DMP, No.1 and No.5 for example.

Okay, yeah, that would work.
