"Did you know?" error
 

Someone posted that the Faux M203 launcher used by Arnold and Al Pacino was the exact same one. Being someone who handled several of these faux launchers I can definitely say that this statement is a bit misleading. On the sets there are MULTIPLE identical launchers (just in case one breaks, is ruined, or is (gasp) stolen or destroyed). It would be more accurate to say that it is certain that "a launcher" was used in both films. CW said there were four total that they were aware of (they were also used in Heartbreak Ridge). I have been told that Arnold switched launchers at least three times during the filming of Predator. Screencaps of the movie show different paint 'scuffs' from shot to shot that would support this.

I realize that there were multiple launchers built, but at least SOME of the same batch made for "Scarface" were definitely re-used (at least in part) on "Predator" and many other movies. GC has the rental records, though I admit that I didn't see them myself, but I can ask. The launcher that they sold on their site in 2010 was sent out on both "Scarface" and "Predator".
