When viewing the page where you upload files, you see the following instructions:

* [[Image:File.jpg]] to use the full version of the file
* [[Image:File.png|200px|thumb|left|alt text]] to use a 200 pixel wide rendition in a box in the left margin with 'alt text' as description
* [[Media:File.ogg]] for directly linking to the file without displaying the file

Since we're not allowing PNG's, can we alter the text on the second line, so there will be no confusion? Thanks.

You are absolutely right. I never noticed that Bunni had originally put PNGs on the instruction blurb.

We really should have people do the standard [[File.jpg|thumb|none|500px|description here]]

Good call. I did not notice that, but only Chris/bunni can make THAT change.
