If you could have any 5 guns.......
Lets say you were offered 5 free guns, no matter how rare.
what would you pick? Id want a savage 1907 .45 acp, a Mauser C96 with combo holster/stock, A singer 1911, And an original Smith and Wesson Registered magnum. The fifth is undecided, maybe a luger .45? BTW, these are guns you would keep, because you want them in your collection or would enjoy shooting them. Not "I want super valuable gun x to sell for money. |
Remington ACR, Kimber Desert Warrior, Remington 870, Barret M82, TDI Kriss Vector
|
Walther P99AS 9mm
Kimber Warrior .45 ACP SIG/Swiss Arms SG552 Beretta 92FS Benelli M4 (with the Marine Corps M1014 collapsible stock) |
i changed number 5 to a smith and wesson 686 plus with pachmayr decelerator grips and an action job by grant cunningham. Need somthing ill actually shoot....ill add a new rule: Only class 3 guns are allowed as a choice if there are transferrable models in the U.S. A fnp90, tdi vector, etc, would not be a choice.
|
An HK 94 chopped and converted then
|
There are transferrable mp5s around you know, usually over 20,000 dollars but hey this is a hypothetical get them for free scenario.
|
5 Sig P210s.
|
Huh, let's see.....
T Series Browning Hi-Power Ithaca 37 Riot 8 shot (the original version, not the ones they make now). H&K MP5A3 (dunno if that's transferable) Colt made M16A1. FN FAL or British L1A1 SLR, not sure. Scratched the Colt made 1911A1 because it's not rare, just expensive. Just for the record, too, Calling the ACR the "Remington ACR" is a bit of a misnomer. While Remington is supposed to build the guns, they (as well as Bushmaster) are owned by Cerberus Capital Managment, and they decided the development and marketing would be taken care of by Bushmaster after they acquired the rights to the design from Magpul. It looks like one of their companies (Bushmaster) did all the work on paper and then they gave the actual grunt work to another one of their comapnies (Remington). So I feel if you're gonna call it anything, it should be what Cerberus decided to call it, due to the development portion of the weapon, the Bushmaster ACR. |
Galil
Original Begian FAL that has never been fired M249 SAW (for my dad) Short barelled, semi auto Uzi H&K P9S in .45 that isn't impossible to shoot left handed |
I heard the bushmaster will be the civilian rifle and they will try to market it to the military under the remington tag.
|
Who the hell has the kind of money to get a ACR anyways?
|
the problem with lists, I change it already, the savage/singer/mauser stay, so does the 686, but i got to say i want a springfield custom shop 1911, the solidness of a pro model, but to my specs (slimgrips, 30lpi checkering, etc)
|
FN Barracuda(I mentioned this on the Zombie Handgun Thread).
The only revolver that looks interesting, to my taste. How about also an FN P-35. Not as rare as the Barracuda, but a nice thing to have. Maybe a Nambu 14 or two, and an Arisaka rifle in working order(mine is missing some important pieces, and doesn't have a mum on it). Lastly, a CZ 52 or Tokarev. The Box O' Truth guy has 'em and they just look really cool. |
I think
1. USP Match
2. M1A Springfield 3. FN SCAR 4. Blaser R93 Tactical Sniper Rifle 5. FG-42 I just chose this because i like it. If i think about the rareness and price, i will go with 5 FG-42 LOL |
Heh heh. Nice.
OH OH OH OH! I want to change mine to 5 diamond encrusted platinum Desert Eagles with gold controls!!!!!!!!!!!!! I could trade them to Call of Duty fanboys to amass an army of personal slaves! |

Dangit Nyles, you always come up with the best stuff.
|
The Mars was the original automag. Id like one.
|
The Mars was too big, too powerful, too complicated and too expensive. It also had the unfortunate feature of ejecting cases straight backwards. They only made about 80, making it the holy grail for a British autoloader collector.
I always espescially enjoy reading contemporary reviews of it: "Nobody who fired it once ever wished to do it again." "He allowed his ideas to wander in the direction of high ballistics, and his pistols accordingly took the form of young cannon." |
Id still shoot one.
Now lets mix it up: 10 guns: 1. Savage 1907, .45 acp. 2. Singer 1911 3. Mars .45 mars long 4. AMt atomag 44amp 5. Mauser c96 with holster/stock, .30 mauser 6. Smith 686p, 4 inch, grant cunningham action job + pachmayr decelerator grips. 7. SIG p220 Stainless With aluminum grips/ elite trigger 8. SA custom shop 1911, built like pro model but slimgrips and 30 lpi frontstrap checkering 9. Full Auto Ar-15, versatile enough to make autorifles and a subgun :) 10. SIG 210, lots of mags and .22lr conversion for cheap plinking fun. |
Ooh, five more free Diamond crusted platinum plated gold control Eagles????!?!?!?!!! I have surely died and gone to heaven!
No but actually, I'd like to maybe have a Browning BDA 380 like the one on the site. http://www.imfdb.org/index.php?title=Browning_BDA_380 So pretty. How about a Stainless Taurus PT92 with wood grips? I love wood grips so much I might just marry them. Can anybody recommend some sexy lookin' revolvers for me to ogle? I've recently started appreciating wheel guns. |
Browing Hi-power
an original CZ 75 Colt Single Action Army M1 Garand and a custom AK in 5.45mm |
1. FN FAL (Maybe a DSA with very few rails)
2. M16A1 (I like how it looks) 3. CZ-75 (not the ugly ass SP-01) 4. An original Uzi 5. Galil 6. Holland and Holland double barelled 12 Ga 7. Black FNP-45 8. A slicked up S&W 19 9. S&W M&P 45 10. A tricked out Kimber 1911 (no rails dammit!) |
If I could have 10.......
T Series Browning Hi-Power Colt Series 70 Government vintage 1970s Ithaca 37 Riot 8 shot (the original version, not the ones they make now). Benelli M4 H&K MP5A3 (dunno if that's transferable) Colt made M16A1 AK-47 (so many different types, can't decide) FN FAL or British L1A1 SLR, can't decide Remington 700 PSS in .308 M60 Machine Gun |

I'd get a FAL, paratrooper folding stock and shorter barrel with a rail to attach a scope.
|
The funny thing is theres more FAL full auto fire groups in the country that are transferrable than Mil spec FALs that were imported, so theres tons of transferrable class three parts without a gun to put them in.

-Mk.14 EBR mod 0.
-H&K G41 -FN P90 or MP5 (I'm a Stargate fan) -Sig Sauer P226 Sport -Benelli M4 (maybe a few Taser X12) I think that covers all the bases. |
1. M1 Carbine
2. Sig Sauer P226 3. Walther P38 4. Heckler & Koch G3A3 5. Webley Mk. VI |
1. Walther WA2000
2. Luger in .45acp 3. SPAS 12 4. Browning BAR 5. M16 mostly for the lower 6. Chey Tac Intervention 7. M60 8. Holland+Holland double in .416 Rigby 9. Beretta 93R 10. M14 Just a few off the top of my head.:) |
I have two questions that I didn't see it specifically mentioned. first of all are we to assume legality won't be a factor (full auto, missile launchers, super short compacts, so on and so forth), also can we pick custom built guns or are we stuck with off the shelf stuff(tactical Kentucky Rifle, M4 with under barrel Uzi, breech loading Nock gun and stuff like that)? thanks in advance:cool:
|
Anything you can legally get, so if you want an mp5, its cool since there are transferrable class 3 mp5s. If yo want a full auto fn p90, you cant
|
How about custom built guns? All the same there's really only one custom gun I'd want and if I have to settle with it being off the shelf then thats what I'll have to do. anyways here's my list:D
1.HK Mk.23 mod.0 2.SIG P226 3.Duckfoot (if possible in a custom breech loading format) 4.Saiga 12k 5.Colt Defender Mark1 6.Merkel 140-2.2 Safari Grade Boxlock 7.SMLE No.5 Jungle Carbine 8.SKS with folding bayonet 9.FNAR Standard 10.Dixie Gun Works Full Scale Replica Model 1874 Gatling Gun(found a loophole with full auto;)) |
A minigun. There are 11 in that are out there in private hands.
|
A minigun (a gun that has a very high rate of fire) in an ammo shortage?
