I had a decent idea earlier: Make a movie where you make people think one guy is the main character by showing nothing but scenes with him in them in the trailer, but kill him off in the first 10-15 minutes, with the guy who kills him actually being the protagonist.
The guy who you are led to believe is the protagonist is on the run from the percieved antagonist, a contract killer, and have the guy succeed in not getting his head blown off for about ten minutes of the movie. Have him escape, then flash forward to him sitting somewhere, having a conversation with who is probably a supporting character. They flesh out the plot a bit, explain some things and then they leave. When they walk out the door have a scene (similiar to the one in the Departed when Leonardo Dicaprio is in the elevator at the end and you think he is going to get away) where instead of going about his way, recieves a .22 lobotomy, as does the "supporting character". Then you cut to the killer, who turns out to be the guy the "protagonist" was running from earlier. Then the movie carries on from there
