OK, you could PM me your Gamertag if you want to

Be forewarned though: I have a bad connection and lag a little bit, which makes things somewhat more difficult than they should be

I watched Die Hard 2 recently and saw 2 plot holes that I've never seen mentioned:
1. The bad guys plan rellys entirly on the police deliberatly violating the entire Posse Comittus (sp) act, which says (basicly) that the millitary can't be used in an LEO capacity in the US. The FBI Hostage Resque Team should have been called in.

2. Even if the bad guy plan worked perfectly, they are still hours of flight time from anywhere not US, let alone "dosn't have extradition", meeaning that they will be intercepted by fighters and ordered to turn back or be shot down.

Other peeves: On an airport with numrous aircraft on the ground, why can't the airport personel talk to the planes in the air or track down the bad guy's signal? Why is there only one guard on the airplane carrying the general? With that little security, he could have had a parachute smuggle on board and jumped after killing the guard, letting the empty plane continue to Dulles.

Never mind. I should stop thinking now.

Law & Order: LA got cancelled. I'm sad, but not surprised. Personally, I think they should've given it another half season, at the very least. They just brought back the reconfigured show what, three weeks ago?

I know it's wishful thinking, but I can't help but notice that none of the other original L&O actors were committed to shows this year. Maybe...

They still had control of the tower comms so they still had those still flying above Dulles as hostages essentially

L.A. Noire is finally out. Been waiting for this game for a while, looks promising. It mixes the CSI game formula (except makes it good) with the Red Dead Redemption/GTA free roam play. Also, interrigations.

I need to buy this game ASAP.

Swordfish941 05-18-2011 09:30 PM

I have started to watch the re-imagined version of Battlestar Galactica. It's pretty good.

Keep watching it. It's a really good series

Yes, interrogations can be fun.

There is much win in this post, good sir.

Sadly, it's more a simple matter of deciding if they are telling the truth, if they are lying, or to bluff and see if they spill something, based on reading their facial reactions to questions you ask them. It's not as exciting as say... shoving someone through a wood chipper or feeding them to a shark, but it has its appeal.

S&Wshooter 05-21-2011 01:32 AM

I just started L.A. Confidential and I have a feeling that I am going to really like it

Spartan198 05-21-2011 02:21 PM

Rise of Nations is so fun. I need to get the full versions of the game and its expansion next month.

Swordfish941 05-23-2011 04:08 AM

I've just saw trailers for The Adventures of TinTin (which looks really good since Steven Spielberg is directing and Peter Jackson is producing) and Horrible Bosses (which looks extremely funny). Here's the trailers:

New vegas honest hearts is nice, you get a thompson and a 1911 also. Joshua graham used to be a mormon and says "one of my tribe made thes oer 400 years ago."

S&Wshooter 05-24-2011 08:57 PM

I didn't know the new DLC was out. I'm going to download it now

k9870 05-24-2011 10:17 PM

I got a little officers 1911 with a trench sight as a reward when i was done. Havent had a chance to use it but its kinda cool.

S&Wshooter 05-24-2011 10:33 PM

Is there any place I can put my stuff without it at some point disappearing?

k9870 05-24-2011 10:37 PM

you can store it at your hotel. You can only bring 75-100 pounds with you.

So there is nowhere in the DLC?

Swordfish941 05-24-2011 10:54 PM

As soon as I get enough money, I am going to go out and buy Oldboy. I find it insulting that Hollywood tried to remake this, but what pisses me off the most is that they wanted Will Smith to play the main role. I'm glad the project is dead.

k9870 05-24-2011 10:55 PM

You dont need it, you can only bring 75 (speech check 100) pounds there and there isnt much heavy stuff to bring back.

Excalibur 05-24-2011 11:03 PM

I'm glad I got mods on the PC. It's still enjoyable.

"one of my tribe made these over 400 years ago."

I think he was referring to Browning. Since people in Utah were known to be Mormons and Browning was a Mormon and he did invent the 1911.

k9870 05-24-2011 11:25 PM

He was, grahams backstory is he was a mormon missionary at one point. I loe how he has a stack of 1911s. The little officers gun kicks ass, 6 shots but a double tap will take down a legion troop.

Excalibur 05-24-2011 11:55 PM

Haven't gotten that gun yet

k9870 05-25-2011 12:23 AM

its in reward box you get for finishing dlc.

S&Wshooter 05-25-2011 03:35 PM

It looks like you are able to go back to Zion after the DLC is over with

k9870 05-25-2011 05:01 PM

i was expecting the white legs to be a better fight i did hit level 36 when getting to zion though and thus have like 465 health and maxed out gun skills

S&Wshooter 05-25-2011 05:12 PM

I am considering restarting so I can go through Honest Hearts at a low level and come out with a ton of really good gear before I even get into the main quest

S&Wshooter 05-25-2011 05:16 PM

Sunny: Here's a shitty little Varmint Rifle

Me: No thanks *whips out 1911*

k9870 05-25-2011 05:22 PM

Whips out modded thompson :D

S&Wshooter 05-25-2011 05:24 PM

I'm totally going to do that when I get home. I'd probably be able to get through the DLC at a low level. When I played I was only level 16 and everything was way too easy to kill

S&Wshooter 05-25-2011 05:27 PM

I mean, I killed just about everything with the Hunting Rifle I happened upon an hour into the main game

k9870 05-25-2011 05:56 PM

Did you leave zion or stay in fight? I took down the white legs, but gave the bad guy a chance to fight like a man. Kicked his ass.

I went with Graham but convinced him to let the bad guy live so he would not set a bad example. The bad guy dies later anyways

k9870 05-25-2011 06:50 PM

How does he die? I told him to defend himself, his guys showed up, we had a battle, and we won.

It says another gang takes them out later on

Goddamn it!! Michael Bay is going ruin another Saturday Morning Cartoon that a lot of us cherished. Why can't he just (in the words of Gollum) go away and never come back.

That's story is almost a year old. I haven't heard anything about it recently.

Swordfish941 05-26-2011 02:09 PM

I watched J J Abram's Star Trek movie last night. It pwns the Star Wars prequels on so many levels (for example, the writing is good).

Given the general opinion of those films, that isn't exactly hard.
