Does anyone have a Mossberg with a pistol grip?
 

I just bought a pistol grip kit for my Mossberg 500 Mariner yesterday. I managed to get the grip installed (though I had to buy an extension for my screwdriver to remove the old stock), but I have another problem - I can't figure out how to get the sling attachment into the grip. There doesn't seem to be any threading. Does anyone know how to put it in? The instructions aren't too helpful, sadly.

Have you tried one of the shotgun forums or perhaps the Firing Line and/or Gun and Games? You'll find alot of shotgun buffs who will probably be able to help you out. Good luck.

Thanks, but I finally managed to figure it out. Apparently, it threads itself by carving out the plastic if you use pliers to screw it in.

Also, I did post a topic on TFL, but got no responses.
