Redoing the grenade pages

Hello everybody, I am new to those forums but not new to the website. I did a few pages so far and I keep correcting stuff whenever I encounter something.

What bothers me is that the grenade pages have always been more or less the "step child" of this site. While creating the Italian hand grenade sites the other day I thought maybe I could redo all the grenade pages (there are not that many, the task is definately possible).

So I wanted to ask the gurus in here, what is the desired formatting, what information should it include?

I would go the following route:

Picture, small text about the history of the grenade, then the following specs:

Specifications
Classification: Offensive/Defensive
Type: High Explosive/Fragmentation/Incendiary/Smoke/Stun/Rifle Grenade etc...
In service: ??-??
Diameter: mm (. in)
Weight: g
Length: mm (. in)
Detonation mechanism: Impact/Time Fuzed (s)
Blast radius: ?? - ?? meters (?? - ?? ft)
Type of Explosive: TNT/PETN etc...
Weight of Explosive:

For the formatting itself I would do it similarily like those pages:

http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Bomba_a_Mano_Mod._35,_O.T.O.

http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Bomba_a_Mano_Mod._35,_S.R.C.M.

Maybe somebody could also create a demo page if anybody has some special wishes.

Is this information available for the grenade pages that we have?

I think so yes. I am a collector of inert grenades and I have an enormous archive of documents. I am pretty sure it can be done.

Is there ANY WAY I can coach you in to taking pictures in the format that we can use with a high end digital camera? And remember, NEVER used direct on camera flash, unless you want to look like an amateur Ebay seller. :D

Alas I don't have a high end Digital Camera and my dad sold all of his professional camera equipment. I would love to know how you take your photos MPM. I know I could talk my local Gun Store into letting me photograph their inventory. I just know that a Barret M107A1 is going to show up in a film sometime soonish.

I am very grateful for any tips!

What should I keep in mind when taking pictures?

MPM, you know I'm a HUGE fan of your pictures. I know you are short on free time with your busy work schedule but I for one would be eternally grateful if you could write up some sort of guide for how you take your amazing pictures!
