That's the first time I've heard of someone complaining of a film not deviating from the source material.

I don't mind trimming the fat a bit to help the pacing. Branaugh's version of Hamlet was four freakin' hours, but didn't cut anything. Olivier's Hamlet was a bit more than two hours and won Best Picture.

There's only so much you can pack into two hours.

Level up, get bigger guns and just keep on shooting until they are dead

Sneak criticals using the Hunting rifle or the Anti-Material Rifle from a distance

The Grease Gun with armor-piercing rounds while screaming Die Motherfucker, Die!! seem to work well enough.
Although I'd invest in an AT rifle and some exploives if you're becoming a serious hunter.
