Ditto. I'm a nerd, but not THAT much of a nerd. :D I can remember many of the major action sequences from the game, but not in such specific detail. Last time I played HL2 to completion was in 2006 (I think).

I do remember HL1's story much better because I played HL: Source about one year ago, during one of my nostalgia trips (and I played through my original copy of HL1 probably about 6-8 times from 1999 to 2004, just before HL2 came out).

I've been replaying Hitman: Blood Money for PS2.
It is still the best Hitman game, although the upscaling on my modern TV makes the Playstation version horribly jaggy

Maybe I'm a minority of one, but HL2 never grabbed me like the first one did and always managed to make me feel like it was preening itself and demanding I notice how bloody amazing it was

That's exactly how I feel about all of Valve's games, especially Portal.

Team Fortress 2 is still amazing.

My brother rented Brink from the Redbox but didn't like it ("It's too hard" he whined), so I ended up playing it. I really like it, despite the fact that you constantly run dry right when you desperately need ammo

Brink can be really annoying to play by yourself because everyone respawns, even the enemies. You kill them all and they come back in 5 seconds. The area is never clear of enemies. This is especially hard when trying to bring something back to your side of the map

You can rent games from Redbox now? I'll have to check that out.

I think I might buy Marvel vs Capcom 3. I heard it's good.

I heard it was disappointing. Fewer characters than MvC2.
