Does anyone have experience camo spraying a rifle?

I was wondering if someone could help me. I don't know how to align the camo patterns. I was thinking of using leaves.

What rifle and what type of pattern? Also, what above leaves?

If the rifle is something like an AR, your best bet may just be to buy furniture with the camo pattern you want.

Spray painting a rifle, in my opinion, gives it an unpleseant texture. Just think about that before you spray

Well not exactly an AR but an airsoft remington. I saw this movie once where
the actor put a couple of leaf on top of the rifle and started spraying a few streaks.
Thing is, I don't really know how to position the leaf on the rifle to break the outline.
Lets just say I'm unsure with the basics of camouflage.

I'm thinking about painting up my Remington M700 but I'm not sure what the best paint for it is and I can't aford duracoat or whatever you want to call it.

I would think that painting your gun wouldn't even be a priority.
