If you could invent a shooting sport
 

Lets say there was good advertising for your idea, what would you invent?

Id have a modified version of 3-gun, called Team 3 gun, with another division called 4 gun.

Team three gun would be 2-4 competitors, and have tea based courses. Stuff like 1 an clearing a room while another hits popup targets outside the building. 4 gun would add precision rifle in to the competition. There would be transition drills from rifle or shotgun to pistol so gear would need to be set up.

The divisons would be

Team Three Gun:
Need a rifle, shotgun and pistol. Any calibers, and optics allowed. Shotguns semi, pump, or whatever you want.

Team Three gun limited:
Only iron sights allowed. same as strandard three gun

Team Three Gun Heavy:

Rifles must be .308, shotguns pump action. Optics and attachments allowed. Pistol must be .45, 10mm, or .357 magnum.

Team Three Gun Heavy limited:

Same as heavy, but no optics, only iron sights.

Team 4 gun:

same as standard three but precision rifle added.

Idea is to allow friends to compete together, and right now three gun heavy is iron sights only, and there is no option to do .308s and 12 guage with optics.

I was always fascinated by the biathalon. The idea of taking an existing sport (cross country skiing) and adding a shooting element was intriguing. I thought why not just add shooting to other existing winter sports. While some were laughably dangerous (curling with guns) one that I think would work is the Three Man Bobsled. Like a Two Man Bobsled, but the third man is a shooter, and he has to hit targets to one side of the sled. Maybe a bit crazy, and perhaps laughably dangerous, but I'd watch it.

Donnernflug, originating in Prussia, is the classic sport in which two opposing teams fire their members out of cannons and into each other's goals.

How about jumping off a plane with a parachute of course and try to skeet shoot while falling.

And if you fuck up it'd be EXTREME ACCIDENTAL SUICIDE!
