Iced coffee! Err.. your beverage of choice is..?

Yes, I am starting a thread about what your preferred all-day drink is. For those of you that like to walk around half-tanked all day, brand names and proof amount would be nice. For the rest of you.. what do you prefer to drink? I'm a fan of "home made" iced coffee in a 7-11 Double Gulp cup. Which is simply coffee (very strong), ice, and very sugary creamer. Barring that, black coffee.

And why would I start this thread? Simple curiosity of what keeps other firearms aficionados from being thirsty all day.

Spartan198 10-12-2009 12:53 AM

Orange juice.

DanKnyphausen 10-12-2009 12:59 AM

Oh, I pound that down like nothing when I'm sick. Couple gallons and I'm right a rain. Good stuff.

Markost 10-12-2009 01:49 AM

Mmm... mate and strong coffee in winter, orange juice and cold mate in summer :D

k9870 10-12-2009 02:19 AM

Black Coffee, 8 oclock columbian blend, everyday.

AdAstra2009 10-12-2009 02:40 AM

I'm poor, I can only afford to buy one cup of coffee a week.

Alcatrazz 10-12-2009 04:37 AM

Tea. Bigelow Constant Comment or green with lemon. Fucking awesome.

MT2008 10-12-2009 04:07 PM

I used to drink lots of orange juice and green tea. Now, I find myself frequently buying iced lattes, which are a lot less healthy (and more expensive). I still drink only OJ before running, though.

I think there's definitely a positive correlation between how busy you are and how much coffee you drink.

Swordfish941 11-01-2009 10:33 AM

I'm a caffeine junkie, but I don't like to drink those bullshit energy drinks like Monster or Rockstar. I preffer Cherry Coke Zero, Pepsi Max, any kind of cola.

Jcordell 11-01-2009 07:31 PM

Coffee with creamer and no sugar. I'll also pound down water throughout the day.

When I do drink beer I like a good I.P.A. (Indian Pale Ale). My favorite would be the I.P.A. made by the Hood River brewery in Hood River Orgeon. I like the heavy hops flavor of the I.P.A. My second favorite is Pilsner Urquall which is a Cezch beer.

Ace Oliveira 11-01-2009 10:21 PM

Black coffee, coffee with cream and cappuccinos.

Cappuccinos are delicious. Unfortunately, I can't drink any kind of coffee anymore because coffee makes me shake like Michael J. Fox.

MattyDienhoff 11-03-2009 04:08 PM

Coca Cola, Farmer's Union iced coffee, or very cold water.

Dude, you're what, 14? 15? At your age, drinking coffee is guaranteed to do that. Why would you need to drink coffee, anyway?

Ace Oliveira 11-21-2009 06:31 PM

Because if I don't drink coffee I fall asleep in class. And it's tasty.

k9870 11-21-2009 10:02 PM

The reason i drink black coffee is its tasty. If it was about stayin awake id use mountain dew, or kickers enery spray. Coffee actually has low caffeine levels when compared to most sodas.

Ace Oliveira 11-21-2009 10:14 PM

We don't have The Dew down here. And I don't like energy drinks. I also don't shake because of my age. I shake because of Ritalin. I take one each morning. When I don't take Ritalin I don't shake. I only drink coffe in the afternoon or at night.

k9870 11-22-2009 12:11 AM

No mountain dew? your missin out big time

Bugabear 11-22-2009 07:03 AM

Pepsi. Promise not a rick roll. Dont bother with ice coffee. The thing is half ice. And you have to use artificial sweetener. Plain olde suger wont dissolve well.

IŽm "neighbour" (down to the south) of Oliveira, and no, we neither know Mountain Dew. YouŽll only find it in Canada, USA, Europe and Australia. Instead of that, there are some Starbucks, but iŽve never drink their coffee.

Ritalin + extra caffeine is a very bad combination. Take one or the other, but not both.

Guess why I was shaking?

Anyway, how is Mountain Dew? Is it good?

Excalibur 11-24-2009 04:18 PM

I used to drink Mountain Dew when I was in high school. I went through a phase where I tried most kinds of energy drinks or sports drinks.

k9870 11-24-2009 09:01 PM

Mountain dew is tasty, and has a nice caffeine boost, without the sick feeling most enery drinks give me. Mountain dew is my pickup of choice. Its hard to describe flavor (there are several now, i like oriignal dew.)

Ace Oliveira 11-24-2009 09:09 PM

Mountain Dew is a energy drink? I didn't know. I thought it was just like normal soda.

k9870 11-24-2009 09:33 PM

It is a soda, the enery version is called amp. Mountain dew is just soda, but has more caffeine than pepsi or coke.

Excalibur 11-24-2009 10:05 PM

I prefer Coke. It has a more robust taste. Pepsi just tastes like very sugary cola

k9870 11-24-2009 10:09 PM

I like coke better than pesi, but diet pepsi better than diet coke. I dont drink much soda, but usually avoid diet since it has a too sweet taste. I like IBC cream sodas.

S&Wshooter 12-09-2009 11:17 PM

Tons of coffee followed by RC Cola (Because I'm a quasi-redneck :p)

MattyDienhoff 12-10-2009 12:28 AM

Coca Cola, as cold as possible.

Iced coffee comes a close second, followed by icy water.

S&Wshooter 12-10-2009 01:49 AM

I can't see why everyone likes iced coffee so much. Isn't it just cold coffee with ice in it?

k9870 12-10-2009 04:34 AM

I love coffee, except at the end wher eits all cold and has lost its heat. Or if i go off to do something and its gone cold and tastes liek crap. Iced coffee is basically like skipping all the hot goodness and skipping to epic fail.

S&Wshooter 12-10-2009 02:27 PM

Iced coffee was probably created so that coffee shops can sell their old coffee

If you donŽt like iced cofee, you gonna hate this:

http://i43.tinypic.com/2ihqqld.jpg

That was Coca-ColaŽs commercial suicide...

S&Wshooter 12-10-2009 09:17 PM

I remember a few years ago Coke put out a new drink that was like half Coke and half really shitty coffee. I tried some and immediately felt as if someone had hit me in the head with a hammer

Mandolin1 12-10-2009 11:15 PM

Looks like beer, I bet you'd get pulled over if a cop saw you drinking that and driving. It looks exactly like beer

S&Wshooter 12-11-2009 12:42 AM

"No officer, it's soda. What's that stick thingy for?" *Texas State Trooper fractures skull with baton*

MT2008 12-11-2009 10:44 PM

Regular ice coffee doesn't taste so great. But ice lattes are great in the summer.

Swordfish941 01-01-2010 08:36 AM

I've invented a new drink that gives you both nutritional value and a boost of caffefine. Here's the item's you'll need:

Cola (any brand)

Milk

Ice

Lowball glass

You first place three ice cubes in the glass. Then you fill it half with milk and then the other half with cola. You then stir it slowly for about a minute and Vola, and got your drink. It looks like a White Russian and tastes like a Coke Float.

Markost 01-01-2010 03:34 PM

Dude, seriously, how can you drink that?

MT2008 01-01-2010 03:44 PM

Cola anything = no nutritional value by default.

I never drink Coke or Pepsi anymore, unless I'm traveling and have to stop at a Wendy's or something.
