How do I name a page about a gun that doesn't have a specific name?

I ask for advice on the following problem. I was going to design a page for the Bernardelli pistol, which is already featured in two movies (''La sfida'' and ''Bent'') and a TV series (''Nero Wolfe''), but I ran into a problem. This model doesn't have a specific name.

The company produced this model from the late 1940s until it was replaced by the Model 60. In catalogues and ads of that time the gun is called simply Bernardelli, without specifying. These pistols are often referred as Bernardelli VT or Bernardelli Gardone VT because of the markings on the slide, but this is an erroneous name (and I made that mistake myself first): the markings mean Gardone Val Trompia, the full name of the town that is a home for main Italian firearms manufacturers, including Beretta, Bernardelli, FAMARS, Uberti and Chiappa.

Some other names for this gun that I found in the internet, also seem incorrect: "Bernardelli .32" doesn't fit as this pistol was also produced in .380 and .22 calibers, and "Bernardelli pre-Model 60" is too generic.

So I would welcome some good advice. Thank you in advance!

Use the name most commonly attributed to it. Like how mention of the name Oscar Gutierrez might draw blank stares, but if you said Rey Mysterio, everyone would immediately know who you're talking about.

Thank you, this is a good idea. By this method, the title would be Bernardelli 7.65, as this term can be found in reference books (.32 pistol was main production version in comparison with .22 and .380).

If any established publications use that name, definitely go with it.
