Ah a remake of the 2004 classic, seriously why reboot a series that is doing good? And so soon......

It's not a remake. It's another adaption of the comics. Columbia Pictures canceled Spider Man 4 after Sam Raimi withdrawaled from the project.

I didn't care for the Spiderman movies at all

I mean reboot no remake. It just seems funny there doing it so soon. Seems a recipie for fail unless they get completely new villians and all original material or it will feel very "been there done that."

The director, Marc Webb, said its going be more gritty than Sam Raimi's version. Plus it has a new villian, The Lizard (to make a long origin story short, the Lizard is actually a scientist named Curt Connors who has one arm. After studying reptile's limb regeneration, he tests a serum on himself that regows his arm, but the side effects of it turns him into a mindless reptilian humonoid monster).

I can't wait for the Thor reboot. I want it now.

I was apprehensive about Chris Nolan bringing back the Joker (and to a lesser degree, Two-Face,) but that seemed to work out pretty well.

Curt Connors was Peter Parker's professor in at least one of the Raimi Spiderman films.

Yes, but he never became The Lizard. We finally get to see The Lizard on screen. :)

I was never a big fan of the Lizard. We need some of the bigger villains
