There are ways around some jackhole squatting on a domain name.

The other thing you can do is lodge a complaint with youtube. It probably won't do anything but its at least worth a try.

What I don't really get is that if he really isn't trying to masquerade as us, why in the world did he choose the name "IMFDB"? There aren't any other websites or organizations that use that acronym that I'm aware of.

I know, but it's just weird. He says just using the name of our site is like me using the name Excalibur.

Obviously Excalibur is open domain. No one has a claim on the actual name.

So again, I inquire with this youtube channel that claims to be us and this was his response.

I just reported him. Anyone else who wants to should. The more people who complain the more likely something will happen.

I think the only complaint that matters is Bunni's. As the legal face of IMFDB, he's the only one with a dog in this fight.
