Okay this ticks me off

http://www.guns.com/gun-review-dl-44...tol-10979.html

I don't really care that Guns.com used OUR (aka my shot of my C96) IMFDB licensed photograph for their article, but this bugged me....

Photo Credits: The screen shots and promotional materials are all property of Lucas Film Enterprises.

So OUR images are now owned by Lucas Film? How about giving some photocredit to IMFDB!?!?! We're the site that the gun images was lifted from.....

Just ranting guys. :D Forgive me.

edit: I have this tingling nightmare that this whole thread has been beaten to death already and I forgot it somehow......

Technically, they only said "screen shots and promotional materials." I think that excludes your image.

But it does still mean they are claiming Lucas Film own "The Naked Runner".

Not to mention they snipe at us in their article. Personally If I had the cash I would send them a legal notice to remove our images from their site.

It seems that they like using our Images on their site.

Hey funkychinaman and Commando552.

I know it's been a while and I think I'm losing my memory, but how come I'm just a senior member on the forums while you're both admins? If there was a thread, I guess I missed it.

I've been gone a lot, working on sets, so sorry :(

Thanks. :D

I'm not sure how those titles work. I think Zackmann altered mine for me.

I see, so I have to have Zackmann alter my account for me? Why isn't this automatic? Of course, that question is directed towards Bunni, not you since I don't expect you to have the power. :D

Only Bunni has the power to modify user accounts on the forum. We only have a couple of admins on the forum and they are the users who are on here the most often and can help regulate the forum. As you yourself said, you are off working on sets and aren't here as often. As far as I know that is the only reason. You should ask Bunni tho.

I'm guessing the forum admins (save for Bunni) don't have access to the administrator control panel. This is a separate function from the moderator control panel that's normally used to close/pin/delete/edit/etc. topics, ban troublesome members, and so on.

Actually MT2008 and Zackman both have almost all admin and mod rights on the board.
