Old thread, but I don't think I ever posted this here.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...apon64crop.jpg Yes, I know they were never used with the semi-auto shell loading tray in the field (and indeed some lacked part or all of the automatic rammer), I just felt like including it. Also a couple of rifles not done in PMG, here's the WW2-era model: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...tuff/Eryx2.jpg ...And the modernised DMR. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...ff/EryxDMR.jpg |

Some of my recent creations using custom-built parts from an utterly massive "kit" I've been assembling for a number of months now from various sources (mostly the PMG Flickr group). It's actually breathed a lot of life back into PMG for me. A custom Mark 12 SPR I assembled for Dani Mason, a Delta shooter in a story I'm writing. You think maybe the red dot sight on top of the scope is a little too much tacticooling? :P I also have a version of it with the shorter M16A1 stock, merely because I can't decide which one I like on it more. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...sonCustom1.jpg I call these the "Vice City Specials", also assembled for a story. They're select-fire AR-15 SBRs built from the ground up by an arms dealer for a former government agent who's now a freelance enforcer for criminal organizations in--as you probably guessed--Vice City. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...tySpecials.jpg And this is just an improved preset I use when making various AR-15 carbines. KAC ambidextrous lower receiver, buffer tube with castle nut, MaTech rear sight, and detailed KAC RIS. Just felt like sharing it, don't know why. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...ovedPreset.jpg And what I like to call the Night Raven Mark 1, in both serrated and unserrated form. This is my own original design made by me, but using the Troy grip as a knife hilt was inspired by a ballistic knife I saw in the deviantART PMG group. Oh, and a... 12 inch ruler not made by me for scale comparison. Still currently looking for a yard stick... lol http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...ark1Series.jpg There's also some custom items I made myself, which can be found in my deviantART gallery. http://spartan198.deviantart.com/ Yes, I'm still playing with this thing on a daily basis, which probably isn't healthy. lol |

These are all custom parts made from scratch inside the app by PMG users more talented than I. So to reiterate, I made nothing in these pics unless otherwise noted!.
http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...mponentKit.jpg ^The two railed gas blocks on the bottom left are my designs, the other two were made by URBANrecon. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...versMounts.jpg http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...cessoryKit.jpg ^The M203 MWS sight is also my creation. Yes, I know the thumb screw is on the wrong side and it was done on purpose to make it look more interesting. I also have an extended rail system for the FN SCAR called an "SRX" or something like that that hasn't been added to the kit yet. Most of the parts were made by trapezoidCQC, the TA31ECOS on ARMS throw lever mount was made by miko.monday, and the detailing on the KAC rail systems was done by pigs_never_fly -black ops is a life style choice. The URX rails with integral BUIS, upper receiver with side-mounted charging handle, suppressor, black ambi-control lower with red and white fire selector markings, Vltor stock, and PMag in the first pic I found on an airsoft forum a long time ago, but the person that posted them said he/she/it/whatever found them elsewhere and didn't make them, so I've no clue who or where the actual author is otherwise I'd track down his Internet name and give credit. I've been accumulating this stuff for so long (months now) that I can't remember who exactly made everything. In addition, a lot of the original export codes had ghost shapes and off-screen parts that I painstakingly went through to manually remove. If the mods don't have any problem with it, I can upload a zip file containing pics and import codes for all this stuff for anyone here who wants it. |

Yeah, they're easily added. All you have to do is copy the import code, go into PMG, click "file", click "import", paste the code there, click "OK" at the bottom of the window (be sure to check or uncheck the "Do not clear stage" box depending on whether or not you want the current object on the screen deleted), and have fun.
If the mods haven't a problem with it, I'll upload a zip file containing pics and pasties for all the custom stuff I have for anyone who wants it. On a side note, does anyone know what that big green laser module in the third pic (above the HK GL, between the PAQ-4 laser and PVS-24 thermal sight, and beneath the PEQ-16A) is? I've been assuming it's a grenade sight, but I'm unsure. |

It's definitely too big to be a rifle aiming laser, that's for sure.
|
Well, since no one seems to be voicing any objections, here's a zip file containing all the custom stuff I have for PMG. I deleted the green PMag from the component collection since it's just a loaded PMag with an ARMS 40 BUIS base acting as a follower, I've added and changed a few things since those pics were taken, and I split the grenade launchers off into their own code. Now keep in mind that some of these codes might cause the app to freeze up for a couple seconds before the parts appear on screen, though.
The KAC free-float M203s pictured with the AG-36 and M320 are my own creation. So those, the two railed gas blocks on the left in the first pic above, and the M203 MWS sight are the only "contributions" I've made to this collection. I am NOT claiming credit for creating anything else here but those items! The hacked parts are just that: Parts already in the app but not usable because Dr. Noob hasn't made them selectable in the Parts & Accessories menu, but discovered by others who have used some kind of flash decompiler. And I'd advise not ungrouping the GP-25 GLs, because they're unfinished in the app but "colored in" using shapes by this guy in the Flickr PMG group. So, you know, enjoy and all that jizz. ;) Edit: Well, damn it... Too large to attach. |

Sorry for the triple post.
Anyway, here's an A1E1 upper I whipped up in, like, a couple minutes. Not too extensive a job, but it came out damn near indistinguishable from a preset upper (there's a small inconsistency in the blending, but it's only noticeable if you zoom really far in on it in the app itself). Seems like someone here disliked the removal of the 715 upper receiver from the original PMG (GM45?), so this should fill all your 715/C7/C8 needs. PM me for the code. |

Built some customs using the new parts.
First one is my interpretation of what combining the MP5K from Black Ops with a modern MP5/40 would look like. If this existed I think it'd be really sweet. Second is just a custom CQBR I thought looked cool. Third I made using the older PMG, it's based on a custom prop I made. I took an old Crossman ".357" airgun, put a G36E forend on it from an airsoft gun, and put an AK top cover under it. Basically I wanted to build a gun that looked even more intimidating than Hellboy's Samaritan. I call it "Uncle Sam". The design idea is that it loads from a cylindrical magazine (like a Spencer Carbine) that loads into a gate under the barrel (it folds open to insert it). I was thinking the hammer would connect to a lifter to load and eject shells, and it would fire something obnoxiously big but not impossible, like a .600 Nitro round, shortened. |

My Knight's Armament monolithic upper receiver (a "theoretical" piece that doesn't actually exist but is technologically feasible), seen on a few examples of my M5 piston carbine. Turns out the HK417 flash hider makes a great stand-in for the KAC QD flash hider.
Left is the basic weapon in 14.5" and 10.5" bbl, the other is the same thing but "tacticooled" and with a different rear sight. |
Coming soon to PMG.
http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2348/...7d8f43d1e1.jpg Mk. 14 by Dr. Noob, on Flickr Along with regular M14 parts. ;) |
Allright now I can properly mock up a modernized M14. I've slightly modded the old PMG M14 into something that looked modernized but I'm not that good.

Nope last time i tried making a weapon that wasn't officially in PMG it was a Vatro Shotgun that i made using various parts and a liberal use of MS paint.
|
Well, one of my only two non-preset recreation so far isn't exactly a perfect replica.
http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5307/...b761d4f18e.jpg KAC Free-Float M203 on SR16 by PMG-Spartan, on Flickr http://photos.imageevent.com/smglee/...DSCN0170_1.JPG So you aren't alone. ;) On a fun side note, if you Google "KAC Free-Float M203", the first five results are PMG creations of mine. :D |
Hey Spartan, would you or any or your sources have an older-style MP5 straight mag and slim foregrip?
|
Quote:
http://www.imfdb.org/w/images/thumb/...0px-HK_MP5.JPG I found the mag (or at least a very close reproduction) and I'll PM the code to you momentarily. I'll have to do a little more looking around for the handguard, though. |
The RAF (The German terrorists, not the English air force) thanks you. :)

Good use of the Aimpoint mount.
|
I have some more M14 pr0n for you guys.
http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3182/...14a201908c.jpg All M14 variants by Dr. Noob, on Flickr Now keep your keyboards clean. ;) But still, as glad as I am to (hopefully soon) be getting the M14, I'm kind of disappointed there aren't any M14E2 parts in there. |
So when is the Update?
I'm asking as I have a few firearms I'd love to use PMG to mock up. |

Well here is an example of my skills at modding things on PMG.
|
All I've heard from Doc (on the Flickr group) is "soon". When I know more, rest assured I'll post it here ASAP.
Believe me, I'm just as excited for this as you guys (I really need to get a life, I know lol). |
Cool. Let's hope he brings back pistols.

Been working on a a significantly better (IMO) rebuild of the custom Mark 12 SPR I put up in post #409.
|
PMG v0.7.0.5 coming "within the next two days".
http://www.flickr.com/groups/pimpmyg...7627056265304/ The Steyr AUG will be accompanying the M14 in this update. Edit: Scratch all that, update is here. M14... Woot! |
It's live, apparently, but I can't find any of the new stuff.
|
Oh, they work fine, you can even build your M14ganov now.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4.../myweapon1.jpg It's kinda annoying that the M14 stock is just one big solidly grouped lump like in the old PMG rather than being possible to break down; I understand that's what the stock actually is, but it would be nicer for actually using it if it was divided into "handguard" and "stock" sections. Same with the grip of the AUG. |
It keeps loading 7.0.4 when I go on there. What am I doing wrong?
EDIT: Never mind, cache clear solved it. |
I just realized the M14 in PMG is actually an M1A. No fire selector or empty hole where one would be.
Doesn't really bother me, it's just kind of funny. |
