Identifying anti-tank rifle

Hello guys.

I was trying to identify the model of an anti-tank rifle appearing in a soon to be released Japanese movie and I found this place, so I thought it was perfect to look for help.

I've taken a screen shot from the teaser and I have some small pictures to help.

Thank you very much in advance. =)

I'm sorry if I shouldn't make this question here.:o

It looks like a light weight prop/fake. Any thing that large would be very heavy and she wouldn't be able to hold it with such ease. The buttstock is also too flimsey for an antitank/materiel weapon that would produce some major recoil.

Yeah, that's definately a mock up. Guns like that are only man portable in anime like Helsing.

Ghost in the Shell, too.

To Ghost in the Shell's credit the person fireing said "Standard issue Big Gun" was a full conversion Cyborg who was useing a model of weapon that directed the recoil over the shoulder and not straigh into it.

While i sepatate GitS and Stand Alone Complex. in both versions that character is the Unit Heavy Weapons Expert.

Looks like it's based on the GEPARD M6 Heavy self loading rifle in caliber : 14.5 mm Russian.

Check out this site on the Gepard series http://www.geocities.com/landofsnipe.../gepardENG.htm

Looks too heavy for a girl like that to handle.
