How time flies...

I was looking at the RE3 page, clicked on the talk page, and saw what I'm pretty sure was my very first comment ever made on IMFDb ... in January 2009.

I've been contributing to this website for over 10 years now.

Same here. Looks like I became active in November 2008. I lurked for a couple months before joining. My first page was "The Stand" in March 2009. It was a steep learning curve. Found IMFDB totally by accident.

I joined in 2008 (as my name implies). 11 friggin’ years! Jeez, where does time go! I was a 22-year old kid, just out of college and with no idea what I wanted to do with my life at the time. Now I’m 33. Jeez, I remember when that age seemed so old...

Oh, and I cringe now at a lot of the stupid shit I said and did back then.

December 2009.

I admit, I don't contribute as much as I used to. A new job competes for your time, and then a wife, and then a kid, and soon another kid.

Our kids were in middle school and elementary school when I joined the IMFDB. Now they're both grown and moved out. I'm just five years out from retirement now. In 2008 retirement was so far out that it was more academic. Now it's so close I can practically taste it.

When we first joined Murtaugh he was celebrating his 50th birthday. I'm 51 and I just went back to detectives a few days ago. I'm too old for patrol that's for sure. :D

Started in early HS, now I have my Associate's and Bachelor's

I joined in May(ish) 2010 so not far from that magic decade mark myself. Just in my twenties, flat broke, and no steel in my ownership whatever. Fortunately some of that has changed since, yet I am still here.. More-or-less. But indeed, has it been that long? Bah.
