Nice, there known to be sweet shooters. I dont quite dig the grips but it looks like you got nice extended controls and good sights. Tell us how she runs when you bring her out:)

Cool man. Did you not like the checkering on the front strap?

Excalibur 11-16-2011 01:35 AM

I do dig the checkered front strap but a buddy suggested hogue grips and I will give it a try at the range next weekedn. This weekend I cant because I have an Anime convention to go to.

Hogue makes quality grips i just hate fingergrooves. if they fit you though tey will help a lot.

Excalibur 11-16-2011 02:44 AM

These do and they feel great but the grip is a bit thicker because of it

Yournamehere 11-16-2011 08:30 AM

The finger grooves and the width of the grip panels make the grip bigger overall, which is the reason why I took mine off of my 1911. If your hands are big enough for them, they're surely nice, but if not, it's best to stick to standard grip panels.

Good for you and your new gun!

I had been hoping to get another type of wood grip but the hogue grips are growing on me. Do they really help with the recoil and control of the gun?

Beautiful! Nice purchase.

Excalibur 11-17-2011 03:55 AM

The gun itself cost me about 700 ish not including ammo and extra mag. I plan to buy at least another one buy next week
