Glock CC question

I have a quick question for anyone who might can help.

What might make a better CCW? The Glock 30 (any of it's variants), or the G36?

You can hide a full size Glock if you got the right holster, and clothes.

I prefer the Glock 19, but right now I got a Glock 43

For summer carry, would the 30sf be a better choice?

Before I came back into the church of JMB, I concealed a Glock 21 in a Galco IWB holster at roughly my 3 o'clock, tucked in behind my hip bone.

It was actually easier to carry in the summer due to wearing loser shorts and baggier button down or polo style shorts.

Your carry gun really depends on your preference and how well you can hide it. A good IWB holster and a nice shirt can hide most guns in the summer. My G43 is practically invisible when I carry it compared to when I carried my G19.

Don't forget the most important thing is can you run a small gun compared to a larger one. It doesn't matter how well you can hide it, if you can't run it when the time comes, there's no point

This might be a bit late, but the G30 was the worst concealed carry purchase I ever made. I listed it within 3 days, it's dimensions were just not good for IWB carry for me. If you've got your heart set on Glock and .45 acp, go with the Glock 36 for an every day carry.

I carry a Glock 43 as my every day, with a G19 for occasional carry. The G19 feels tiny IWB when compared to the G30. That said, it's all a matter of personal preference. Just figured I'd share since I've thrown the money down and said "I can make the concessions!" myself, followed by a very quick sale of the pistol in question.

If you're not fully committed to going Glock, you might try out the Springfield XD in .45, they're a lot slimmer feeling than the Glock .45 pistols (with the exception of the 36, of course)

Funny thing. I actually had the chance to feel a Glock 30. It did not feel comfortable at all. I have since decided the Glock 26 is the route for me.

Yea, it didn't fit my hand particularly well either. Glock 26 is a great choice. Gotta love a compact that shoots almost as comfortably as a full size. I carried one for a year or two, myself. Pretty comfortable in the right holster, I favor the Blade-tech holsters.

Give the Glock 43 a try. It will change your mind about micro carry guns.

I'm with you on that one, I love mine. With my preferred self defense rounds it leaves a group at 7 yards that you can cover with a quarter.

It does wear me down pretty quick at the range (I know, not it's intended purpose), around 100 rounds and my hands start getting a little too shaky for good aim.
