Yet another reason why I don't want to live on this planet any more.

For the record, the first was finding out SAGE makes EBR stocks for Garands.

Evil Tim 11-04-2011 01:17 PM

Tacticool weapons? There's no beating the tacticool Mosin Nagant.

funkychinaman 11-04-2011 03:24 PM

It must be quite a show when that Mosin Nagant is fired.

Mr. Wolf 11-04-2011 08:43 PM

"Already there" Yeah but mine's a 130 something year old Colt SAA (See MW3's 1887) with rails AND a threaded barrel. ;) Don't dis' the S&W M&P, that's a excellent revolver. :D This SAA was made as a response to a joke I made to Tim, I think you'll recognize the the second pic Tim. ;) I think that tacticool Mosin is terrable! It's too short and it has M4 parts on it, I hate my country's obsession with putting M4 parts on everything. :| But I guess you can do a lot to a rifle that you can easily get (and in excellent condition) for a hundred dollars, that's why I'm gonna get a Mosin and (for the love of all things good) keep it stock. When I saw the AW I thought "what's wrong with it?" Then I noticed the soda holder on the side and I lol'ed. XD In real life the best "improvement" you can do to a SAA (unless your a collector) is cut the front sight off and practice your quick-drawing skills. I'm still amazed by the speed and dead-on accuracy of a quick-drawing artist with a weapon that only has descent accuracy, no sights, and is being fired from the hip.

The Wierd It 11-04-2011 11:13 PM

I still say a Garand in an EBR chassis is the biggest example of Tacticool heresy I've ever seen. Especially the version with an AR-15 stock on.

Evil Tim 11-05-2011 04:50 PM

The one thing that always gets me about the Mosin is trying to figure out where the hell you're supposed to put your right thumb.

You are supposed to cut it off with a pair of bolt cutters so you can wield the awesomeness that is the Tacti-Mosin

Mr. Wolf 11-05-2011 07:23 PM

That Mosin deserves to be left on the ground. :D

I've spent a lot of time playing Airsoft with a British Paratrooper and he uses all the terms that people from that area says, including calling a flashlight a Torch

Oh for God's sake!

Actually we've had tacicool Thompsons since the 80's.

Attachment 505

Atleast it looks useful...

BTW, how do you show images at full size?

funkychinaman 11-24-2011 05:28 AM

The top one looks like they might be trying to make something like the De Lisle. Take a look at the magazine. If that's the case, then that's pretty cool.

Except it has no provisions for lights, laser, and optics

Please give me a step-by-step. :\

Mazryonh 12-04-2011 11:36 PM

If you're going to be ragging on a "tacticool" revolver, I'm surprised you didn't already rag on the revolver in Metro 2033. That's pretty tacticool and it's the new "Russian standard-issue" in the game for some reason.

You mean the same game that had the tacticool pellet gun?

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...-lever-action/

The perfect gun for those hybrid Practical Rifle/Cowboy Action shoots. All that's missing is the enlarged loop for flip-cocking, but then again, tac lights and lasers would probably throw it off balance.

*goes off to be sick*

Spartan198 02-15-2012 02:15 AM

I just had a light bulb.

It'll be called "Pimp My Random Household Object", or PMRHO for short. Basically, it'll be an app like Pimp My Gun, except the objective will be to pimp out random household objects such as hammers, hacksaws, spatulas, toasters, and frying pans. You can add to them rail systems, laser sights, scopes, stocks, and extended magazines.

It'll be a hit on sites such as M4carbine.com and MilitaryPhotos.net.
