Spring Break Plans?
 

I know theres a few other college students here. Mine starts friday, 6 days left. Flying to ireland for 8 days. What are you doing?

Mine started on Friday. I'm not doing too much, just hanging out a bit more than usual (I haven't done any work this weekend).

Starting Monday, I have to get right back to work, even though I don't have classes. Grad school is way tougher than college. For us, spring break means a chance to finally start on seminar papers and catch up on research. Some vacation. :rolleyes:

Im just going to get drunk and smoke cubans lol

Days couldnt drag any slower right now though. Cant wait till we land saturday morning.

Fishing in Eastern Oregon, it's looking like.

Anything to get away from campus for a while, I'm starting to lose my mind.

im going backpacking in the mountains for 4 days

I'm going to Austin :(. We were supposed to go to Canada but my brother and I don't have passports

My parents own a chinese place. I'll be their "helper" for the entire week. That means I work there but I dont get pay cause it's a family loyalty thing to help out the folks. Of course it's more lax than real work where if business is slow, I can't just pop my lap top or hang around.

I'm playing Mass Effect 2. And I might buy BF bc2, depending on the graphics. They look too vivid. I guess I'm too used to the MW2 movie kinda look.

im in ireland now. kicks ass.

Btw, since yesterday I´m officially in History II, and today I resigned to my job, so I have vacation until April 5...

Ireland's pretty cool (the Republic, I mean...Northern Ireland is depressing unless you're into its history.) I was there in '07 with my study abroad group.

Finally able to post. Been logged out. Well, i wont be getting into fights. im a very friendly drunk, and a sleepy drunk. Its great hanging out in bars and only half of them bother carding. I went to a store here though and federal law is age 21 to buy airsoft lol. So in america im allowed to own guns but not drink and its the opposite here. Oh well, time to go celebrate st patricks day.

BTW, anyone got a favorite drink to reccomend that I can try before I return home?

I just got back from my min-vacation. Instead of going to Austin, we went to San Antonio (pretty much one big ass history lesson :D), New Braunfels (little town with a rich German history and one of the best waterparks in the world), San Marcos (we went there so my mother could shop), and Buda (Big ass Cabelas store with a gun library and everything, in which I got to hold 10 plus different rifles/pistols without being rushed by the guy running the counter)

So much Guiness that you pass out and wake up somewhere weird

Dont really like guiness, too thick. the only beer i can drink any amount of is bullmers pear.

well i just got back from a backpack and campout. i have hiked 16 miles, 8-point-something with a backpack. 8 on foot.

I did jack shit in San Antonio. Actually, I did get to go to the bar that Teddy Roosevelt recruited a bunch of the Rough Riders from and ate a painfully expensive meal at Morton's

im home, great time, more stories when ive had more than 3 hrs sleep in 40 hour period

What i like is everyone picked up accents there, at least a little. One guy sounded like a native after 3 days. I started talking in an accent a little last night, but it was 1am and i was drunk. But its true, no matter wher eyou go the accent rubs off.

One problem with spring break is pictures keep coming up on the book you dont want to be seen (and sometimes dont remember.)
