I ordered an FAL the other day and it arrived this morning

It's an IMBEL from DSA with a 21 inch barrel

A guy on Manly Excellence suggested that I devise a way to mount my Kukri as a bayonet

Now all you need is to attach some rails for a red dot sight or scope, maybe attached a foregrip and get a 30 round mag

A 30rd mag wouldn't be bad. But they aren't all that common. Mine already had a scope rail, so I went ahead and made use out of it.

I too would leave the clean lines of it as is.

Given that this was sometimes done with military issue FALs (or L1s, anyway).

An allied armament 50 round drum? That would be awesome but its pricey and probably is close to the weight of another rifle when loaded. Get a cool sling and attach a new swivel tot he handguard to use it as a shooting aid.

My ammo arrived right as I was leaving to go get my passport photo taken

I've seen a pair of HK51K run those drums and they seem great for NFA weapons. Still on full auto they run out fast.

I've seen a full auto FAL. The recoil can be hard to tame if you aren't trained

Hopefully I can pick up some mags when I go to the Pasadena gunshow tomorrow
