Bollywood action extravaganza... I've seen many over the top sci-fi movies in my time. Movies from all over the world. Good ones, bad ones, really bad ones. And yet, I don't know what to call this one. The sequence you are about to see is from an Indian movie named Endhiran. The most expensive Indian movie ever produced. I have not seen it yet but I think I should. :) What makes it even more interesting is that this sequence was put together by russians so it is dubbed over the original language. Don't be confused. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yysbbPStfWw Who wants to tag it? |

Ah, a classic. Bizarro, really bizarro, but epic at the same time. |

AVclub actually watched the whole thing and did a write-up on it today. http://www.avclub.com/articles/enthiran,52653/ The strangest thing that I got from the article (other than the fact that the robot had a conversation with a mosquito) is that all the bad, fan film-quality CGI was actually done by the Stan Winston Studios and ILM. If this thing wasn't three hours long, I might actually consider renting it when it came out here. |
