IMFDB Sponsorship?
 

Hey Guys,
A quick stint on youtube turns up a guy claiming to be sponsored by the IMFDB. Funny how there is nothing on this site about it unless Bunni has something he's not telling us about.

How the hell can you be "sponsored" by IMFDB, anyway? We're a Wiki, not a business.

We seem to have a problem with people posing as us or pretending to be associated with us.
We could have a link on the front page (similar to the rules link that would be impossible to miss) that is titled associations of IMFDB (or something); It would list entities that IMFDB has partnerships with ,and their would be a disclaimer that says if it is not listed here it is not associated with IMFDB.....something along those lines.

Sorry guys! :eek: I didn't make a mention because I didn't think anyone would actually notice/care. I play a lot of starcraft and am active on screddit. I gave the guys a $100 for a tournament and they offered advertising so I said sure throw out the imfdb.org.

I'll make a post about it or throw it up on the front page if I ever do anything similar again.
