I saw the movie again and seriously, the snow dream kept reminding me of the snow mission in Modern Warfare 2

I heard that James Franco had talks with Christopher Nolan to play Arthur, but couldn't due to scheduling problems.

Well good thing he didn't. The guy who did end up playing Arthur is a better actor.

I am surprise on how good an actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is.

Inception seems like one of the few Oscar worthy films this year. That and Black Swan.

Anyone else feel this movie had some strange similarities to Shutter Island? Had DiCaprio as the star, had a lot of mentallity involved, and that same foghorn music was used.

I haven't seen Inception. But Shutter Island was a really good movie!!

Inception = Memento + Shutter Island + The Matrix + Modern Warfare 2.

Shutter Island was okay. You sort of saw the twist coming though. I definitely think Inception was better.

As good as it is, I don't think I'm going to bother renting this for my folks. I don't look forward to trying to explain it to them.
