Social networking accounts
 

Hey All,
I know that there is that posser bastard pretending to be the IMFDB on youtube. I was thinking that mayby we should start pages on various popular social networking sites (Myspace, Facebook, ect.). that are the official IMFDB page and or networking group. This way we will not have any other jackass claiming to be us. Does anyone else have any ideas along those lines?

IMFDB is the username.

He has 0 uploads, what's the problem?

The reason why I am thinking that we should start official pages is the fact that he's Still around and he's makeing stupid comments involving person's of public note.

We don't need that sort of attention.
Thus we really should make some official accounts so that we can prevent more people from ruining our collective reputations.

Bunni should contact youtube and ask them to remove the guy's account. It might not work but it would be a good first step.

well he's in violation of the Youtube policy on Impersonation. When I run across his posts I do comment that he's not an INFDB member and is a posser claiming to be such.

what really worries me is that he's talking to at least one actress like she was us. That's not a good thing at all.

It's not just Masturbation we have slang terms for. trust me when I say that the Brits can be horrid filthy brutes.

Fanny and bum don't mean the same thing in England as they do in America.

When I was in England.... a LONG TIME AGO ...., I remember a girl I knew who was also from the United states. This was in college and she took a drive around the northern parts of the UK all weekend (about 18 hours of driving over 3 days). When she came back to her school (a British one) she declared that her Weekend was exhausting because she had spent three days getting a serious case of 'fanny fatigue'...... lol!

Ok back to the topic at hand...How many people would be interested in say an IMFDB Facebook network, youtube channel, Myspace account ect?

Even if the page is not managed, something as simple as "This page is the only official IMFDB page" could be placed on it to show that anything else is fake.

You might be on to something. Creating an fake 'official IMFDB' page sounds like something that moviemaster1993 would do. If anything is tagged official than it should be actually official.

So is there an Admin or Mod @ IMFDB account that we could borrow or should I see if IMFDB @ hotmail.com is taken and if not take said account and then send MPM and Excaliber the passwords?

It would help with the various garbage out there. You know an IMFDB Facebook/Myspace/Youtube.

I think all the mods and since Rockwolf started this, should have the password to this account, so we can have more than a couple guys on this project.

Thanks for the vote of confidance Excaliber. I could do something like make a OfficialIMFDB youtube page and an Official IMFDB Facebook Group. but the issues are that I don't have the OK of Bunni and Frankly I am a luddite with a computer. Still such things can help us with a legidamate internet presence.
