Who supplied armorer's CornerShot's
I been to every gun selling site and read every youtube video and could not ever find a CornerShot on auction. Probably because CNN said this weapon system will onfortunately not be sold to civilians. Were these weapons systems real or replicas if they were real how could armorer's get them when they originated from Isreal? It says that this weapon system will only be sold to Police, Military and Government Agencies.

armorers have special exemptions, thats why they can get mp7s and p90s.
|
I've only seen a real Cornershot in the show Flashpoint and a kind of fictional one in Wanted
|
The CornerShot's were also used in an episode of CSI:Miami. The had the Glock mounted in them.
|
Those "Special Exemptions" are Class III liscenses so they can own full-auto guns, rifles and submachine guns with barrels less than 16", shotguns with barrels less than 18", and suppressors.
|
they can also get post 86 weapons.
|
We used one in the TV series Flashpoint.
Up here I believe it's legal to own one without any permits as it is not considered a firearm, just like a M203. But I'll look into this as I might be wrong. |
It's a non-gun up here, though of course the pistol in it would be. The only reason it would be illegal is if it could pull the trigger fast enoguh to simulate automatic fire.

I want a CornerShot. Luck Canadians... ;)
Living in New York, I'm sure they're too scary to own here. God knows what the politicians would think about citizens being able to safely shoot around corners. |
If i heard correctly, in NYC they also passed a law about something against shooting an intruder in your home unless you can prove it or some bullshit
|
Yeah, you cannot shoot someone unless you feel your death is imminant. Basically, you can't fire until it's too late. Such a great law it is. Basically saying I can't kill the fucker unless his hands are around my throat.
And if you shoot an intruder and say he falls out of your door or window, you're fucked. He isn't in your home, so you basically shot someone without probable cause (and somehow they can dodge this even if he's carrying a weapon). And if he survives you're boned even worse. Because then he can sue your ass for all you got and basically rob you more effectively than he originally set out. So if an intruder enters your house in NY, bend over because you're fucked no matter what. I'd rather live in Florida, where you can shoot someone on your lawn if you feel threatened. My uncle who lives in Florida finds it neccessary to brag about this to me often. :P |

If you had the right gun, you could hide behind a tree and shoot deer with it and they'd never see you.
Or maybe you just want to shoot around corners for shits-and-giggles. IMO, we have the right to do whatever we want for S-&-G, and shouldn't be limited on it. |
I'd want to be able to defend my home with a cornershot. Look around corners to see if the intruder is there and it hands like a rifle so i can aim better
|
The only problem is reloading. The gun would have to be removed from the system to reload it, which would be a big problem. So I'd carry a ready sidearm as well, even if my primary sidearm was in the CornerShot already.
