Facebook basically banned us
So even though the IMFDB facebook page still exist, we can't even link people to that page. Spelling out IMFDB.org even in a chat apparently is flagged and the comment can't be posted.

Fuck Facebook. In the recent years, they've been incredibly annoying with their shitty "community standards", and their algorithms are crappy as hell.
|
They probably consider us a "hate group" since we aren't spewing BLM propaganda.

So is there anything that can be done about this? It's not the first time that Facebook's algorithms have turned up false positives.

For what it's worth, the same thing happened to Mr. Guns-N-Gear months ago. We can probably take the same steps he took - see his video on what he did: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwebCV65FQc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMk3lDzws_c |

I talked to Chris (bunni). He’s tracking. We’re looking into what can be done right now.

Would we be doing any different if someone tried to use IMFDb as a promotion platform for gun control? Declare me a traitor, leftist, "Communist/Marxist Democrat," Nazi, or whatever else, but the constitution isn't slanted to any side of the spectrum. |
I understand the private company clause but there's been several cases where Social Media had to answer if they were publishers.
Either way, they should at least inform why they decided to not allow IMFDB.ORG links despite gun sites still being allowed |
So I tried to go to the FB page today, and it said the page isn't available. You still get a hit when you search for it, and images from the page still show up, but you can't reach the actual page. Is this the same for anyone else?
