But the SEALs don't use Berettas.....

I read it today and was looking for a blowup on that page, they said they've sold thousands to the military and included Special Forces and SEALS.

I'll have to dig out the paper later. Beretta M9 (and other designations, same gun)

They're the SEALs. They can use whatever they want.

and the still dont use a gun with an open slide.....

I saw the add, and I instantly thought "SEALs don't use Berrettas". Aparantly, everyone here thought the same.

It just says SEAL Team Six was their first US Military customer, and that SEAL Teams in general used the pistol at some point. Not that they still use Berettas.

OK I got the ad out....first it is nice, and it says:

....."in 1978 Navy SEAL Six became the first U.S. Military user of the Beretta Model 92 handgun......now known as the Model 92FS or "M9" pistol - is the standard sidearm of of the U.S. Armed forces, with thousands of pistols purchased over the years by the Navy SEALs.

It goes on later:

.......And to our first U.S. military customer - Navy SEAL SIX -.....

So basically it's a really nice picture, thank you and a clever Beretta gun ad.;)
