Master Chief is possibly the most overrated video game character ever, people love halo, cause its a fun game, but the main character doesn't talk, has no character, hes just a green suit that shoots things.

That's why they failed at making a film adaption of Halo. But from the ashes of Halo rised District 9.

Neither does Gordon Freeman. In the original Half-Life, you never really learn much about him from the game itself. Valve actually had to release an official biography to correct this problem.

BTW, like Freeman, my Dad is also a theoretical physicist (though he doesn't research teleportation, obviously :D ).

I only rented the original Halo once for a day or so (I returned it because I hated it), but I seem to recall Chief speaking during cutscenes. I could be wrong, though. But that was years ago and I haven't touched anything Halo-related, so I could easily be mistaken.

Most of my friends grew up on xbox and went to 360, i grew up on ps2 and went to 360. So they grew up on halo and think it was the greatest thing ever. i grew up on SOCOM, and have had to watch as it fell apart from great games to half assed unpolished sequels.

Oh, I hear you. As far as PS2 shooters went, SOCOM was "it" for me. What Zipper did with SOCOM 4 is insulting.

I'm watching Spice World right now and I think Dane Cook is funny.

I actually messed up at one point, but otherwise, it went well.

The party was great, too, although I couldn't drink much since I had to get up and work today. What's really funny is that I still suck at Guitar Hero even though I was able to play the piano.

Diappointed in epic meal time. Seriously, i dont need to watch them go around drunk buying fastfood and acting like huge celebs/rappers or something. I watch them for the cool meals they make. This weeks episode was a fail. Do that in their own time, buying 1 dollar slices of pizza is not epic.

I got a speed loader for my rossi 38 special and my dad bought a ruger BX-25. Hopefully it is better than those shitty butler creek mags.

Did the Butler Creeks have the steel lips or the plastic "hot lips". I've had good luck with my two that have the steel lips. I plan on getting some of those BX-25s.

Cabelas actually has a lot of the bx25s on the shelves. you'd expected limited supplies at first. I just started working but saving up for a 10-22 and getting tech sights. BTW my friend has a single tactical innovations mag that he uses almost exclusively and it runs like a champ.

The best part was that the bx25s were only $2 more than the butler creek ones.

I think i'm the only one not mourning ryan dunn. He killed his friend, wrecklessly endangered other people, people act like its a huge tragedy but only hes responisble for what happened.

its basically murder, he was drinking and then his dumb ass went and got in a car accident: killing him and someone who had no control over the drivers actions.

The passenger willingly got in and was probably encouraging the behavior, these guys think a lot, probably thought they were total badasses or something. But, they put EVERY OTHER PERSON ON THE ROADS at risk by driving 130 mph. They recklessly endangered innocent people.

I'm not a fan of the show, so I hadn't really given it any thought either way.
