And the newest H&K flare launcher:
http://i49.tinypic.com/2vnhx0z.jpg Donīt worry, they donīt sell it to civilians. |
Why would you need a grenade sight on a flare launcher? lol
|
Cause it's cool?

I hate HK, I think colts gone the way of HK now too.
|
That's why I buy old guns. For example, I'm about to sell my High Standard to my dad (for $500 minus the money he lent me for my 4506) and you know what I'm gonna buy? A Makarov. Who needs all those bells and whistles when you can have reliability?
|
nice, i like your thinking. smart man....
|
Cool. I want a Cz 52 and a Tokarev.
Just like tBoT guy. |
Every newer production gun I own gives me grief (P22 jams/misses by country mile, STAG won't accept any mags, even the one that came with it, w/o a fight, Japanese Browning has parts that are wearing out) While all of my older ones perform wonderfully
|
Ive heard the cz 52 has two triggers, one some people mistakenly call a "decocker."

On a side note, I sent Doc reference pics of the M16A1 pistol grip and birdcage flash hider. Hopefully those will make it into the next update and complete the M16A1 package. |
|
The front sight is off and won't align to the rear sight.
|
@markost
its not showing up for me :( EDIT: i looked up the pic from school. it just wont show it from school. so....i wish i had one of those now markost. what does it shoot? |
M14 mag, so I guess 7.62 NATO. Though erasing part of the front sight makes it kinda fugly
|
excalibur, its just like taking the ugly girl with the great body to the prom
you put a bag over her head or you just cut it off (i kid...i kid....dont worry) just dont look at it and look at the back |

On an HK416? a bit Unlikely
|
|
@excalibur
what? have you lost your mind? of course it exploded its heckler and cock. :p but..yeah...you wouldnt understand, ur not an operator. @S&W that looks like something out of Far Cry! |
Nobody's pissed off about my picture? Bitchin' :D
|
I take offense!
How dare you graphically portray the death of a firearm!!! :C |
SW, the slides supposed to fly back in in yo face lol
|
I'm not pissed off, but I think the "Berettas explode" thing is a bit played up and played out. Even so that's not how the KB would occur, that is definitely a Far Cry 2 (not the original Far Cry) KB in that it makes no sense.
|
I've seen the testings HK has done to their 416. Mud and sand, filled with water, the only thing that I've ever seen it have a problem was once there was a stovepipe. That aside, never seen a 416 ever go bad.
Bad ammo could attribute to an explosion like that |
I'm not saying they can't have a catastrophic failure, they just don't blow apart like that. All the guns I've seen that have failed like that have, at the most, a split barrel /chamber and some bulges in a few areas. The problem the Army was having that led to the "exploding Beretta" myth were with American license and French built slides which didn't have the same grade metal as the original Italian models, and so a few during testing snapped at the locking lugs. The entirety of the slide didn't fly off and come apart from the barrel assembly like in S&Ws fictional KB, but, from the locking lugs back, the slide just broke off. If you really think about it, the entire slide couldn't come back and off the gun (especially while letting the barrel escape and fall forward or in any other direction) because the slide is still attached to the barrel which is still linked into the frame by the takedown lever. Short of a simultaneous rail and takedown lever failure, the slide won't come off like that, and even if it does, the barrel will still be in the slide.

The HK testing was bullshit, especially that over the beach test. I love how he shoots the 416 with just eye protection and then puts on a blast shield and the m4 just happens to blow up, as we all know m4s blow up when wet but hk makes indestructible uber guns.....
Has the 416 done any independent testing? HK is not the most trustworthy company and will just hype their product. I also heard these guns are luck to shoot 3moa. |
Well that's because the HK tester KNEW FULL WELL that the M4 will blow up in his face. He was going in prepared as hell for it to destroy itself during the test. When the guy wore nothing during testing the 416, he was fully confident that the 416 would NOT blow up in his face. That's why he wore no protection, because he had faith in the 416, NOT the M4.
There had been some independent testings, and some say that the 416 might have overheating issues. |
Norway (I think it is) adopted the HK416 and from what I've heard/read/etc., they've been having nothing but trouble with them. Though I don't recall any details ATM.
|
US Delta and Marines had tested the 416 out into the field, but I believe a while ago, I think they told the Marines to give the 416 back and use their M4s again, which they didn't like after they got used to the 416
|
yeah...that's real neat and all but uh...
on topic? this is a ''pimp my gun'' thread, not a ''bitch about H&K and M4's'' thread. so. lets stay on topic |
Haven't really thought of what to do. I don't like the new format.
|
Use the old version. Why donīt we try to make civilian rifles?:

:C
California guns. :C |
You said civilian rifles, so what better example than a really messed up AR-15 with California standards.
