Whitney-Kennedy rifle.
This one's not hard if you know your military muzzleloaders. And nice one with the Roper, I was totally stumped on that one. |
Brunswick rifle?
It reminds me of the Pattern 1853 Enfield, made by the same company, but that metal plate on the stock isn't on the Enfield. |
Definately not a Brunswick, but would have been used in the same role when originally issued.

Hint: If you look close, there's an eagle on the lock plate.

M1841 Mississippi Rifle

That it is. I was sure someone was going to guess Remington Zouave Rifle too...
|
That was my first thought. Here is a good one. I edited the slide a little only to hide the model.

Caliber range is right, not exactly a 41 though, and its no ruger, its a much more obscure company.

No. Its not in a common caliber.

More obscure, like, the company that made the gun invented the cartridge for it, and fairly modern.
Hint, digit caliber. |

Good work thought nobody would find it:)

What are the rules if the person who guessed last gun doesn't post again?

Heres an obscure piece of crap.

Clerke 1st Revolver available in .32 and .22.
A friend has one that I thought was a cheap cap gun. |
Wow just my luck somebody here had seen one! Your turn
|
|
Taurus 85?
|
Nope, but it is a .38 special.
I just looked up the Taurus 85, it is almost a dead ringer. Close but no cigar. |
Charter arms off duty?
|
Nope. It is a rare gun that was made to compete with Colt's Detective Special. The manufacturer made approximately 5000 but then only released a limited number to the public.
 |
C frame model 73. Why was it such a failure?
|
You got it!
