Why do people think music from the 80's sucks? Because they don't like synthpop? Do these people really think all music from the 80's was synthpop? There are a few things that people say that are very reliable metrics as to how uninteresting and worthless they are and "80's musics sucks lol amirite guys" is a big one.

Metallica was around in the 80s. That claim is clearly just not true.

"I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls wasn't bad. Sure, the guy looked weird, but oh well, it was the eighties.
