i got tired of black ops a while ago. Or COD in general, they need to innovate and do something new or something. Destructible environments, vehicles, big maps, you know, that stuff. There own copy of rush mode or take multiple checkpoints mode (whatever industry standard name is,)) |

That would be too many. I like bad company's big maps though.

I saw the trailer for Abduction and it looks pretty good, despite the fact it has a Twilight star in it.

"Remember us." As simple an order as a king can give. "Remember why we died."
For he didn't wish tribute or song. No monuments, no poems of war and valour. His wish was simple: "Remember us," he said to me. That was his hope. Should any free soul come across that place, in all the countless centuries yet to be, may all our voices whisper to you from the ageless stones: Go tell the Spartans, passer-by, that here, by Spartan law, we lie. So my king died and my brothers died... Barely a year ago, long I pondered my king's cryptic talk of victory; time has proven him wise. But from free Greek to free Greek, the word was spread that bold Leonidas and his 300, so far from home, laid down their lives, not just for Sparta, but for all Greece and the promise this country holds. Now, here on this ragged patch of earth called Plataea, Xerxes' hordes face obliteration! Just there the barbarians huddle, sheer terror gripping tight their hearts with icy fingers, knowing full well what merciless horrors they suffered at the swords and spears of 300. Yet they stare now across the plain at 10,000 Spartans commanding 30,000 free Greeks! [Faces the army] Haroo! The enemy outnumber us a paltry three to one; good odds for any Greek. This day we rescue a world from mysticism and tyranny, and usher in a future brighter than anything we could imagine. Give thanks, men! To Leonidas, and the brave 300! To victory! And of course the appropriately titled "Remember Us" by Tyler Bates. I like movies with good quotes in them. |

You know what sucks the most about Anonymous and their assault on Sony and the PlayStation community? Not the PSN outage, not even the fact that my credit card info may be compromised.
What sucks the most is that by wearing those Guy Fawkes masks in public, they have totally ruined both the graphic novel as well as the movie, V For Vendetta, for me. :( |
those mask wearers are just doing it because they think anonymous is cool. They have many fanboys most of them 4 chan noobs.

This is fucking amazing:
Men, my brothers, men the workers, ever reaping something new: That which they have done but earnest of the things that they shall do: For I dipped into the future, far as human eye could see, Saw the Vision of the world, and all the wonder that would be; Saw the heavens fill with commerce, argosies of magic sails, Pilots of the purple twilight, dropping down with costly bales; Heard the heavens fill with shouting, and there rained a ghastly dew From the nations' airy navies grappling in the central blue; Far along the world-wide whisper of the south-wind rushing warm, With the standards of the peoples plunging through the thunderstorm; Till the war-drum throbbed no longer, and the battle-flags were furled In the Parliament of man, the Federation of the world. There the common sense of most shall hold a fretful realm in awe, And the kindly earth shall slumber, lapped in universal law. - Alfred Tennyson |
So i had to slam my breaks and avoid hitting a car by a foot since it made an unprotected left turn into oncoming traffice without looking.
Driver was: A.Old B. Female C. On a cell Phone. All the major stereotypes in one package. When will they ban talking on cells while driving? Arent pretty much all of them sold with a bluetooth now anyway? |

If you are caught handling a mobile phone whilst driving around here the repercussions can be rather...severe.
Think Bubba. |
Here they can only charge you if its a factor in another incident.
Example: Get speeding ticket, your charge is speeding. Pulled over speeding on cell phone: charged with speeding and distracted driving. We had alaw trhat said you could be charged with not wearing a seatbelt, but only if you were charged with something like speeding first. Eventually law was changed to make it so you can pll people over for no belt. Its just the states history, make a feel good law but dont give it any theeth. |
