Not an OSW, just a FSL (our civilian version of the Fal).

I heard FALs are set up as lowers/uppers kind of like ARs, so could you buy a full sized FAL and pimp it out as a osw later, just rotate between them?

You can pimp it, but be careful with metric and inche pattern, they aren´t interchangeable.
