I was a detective with my agency for a few years (2003-2006) before I (voluntarily) returned to uniformed patrol.

I primarily investigated Financial Crimes (Fraud, bad checks, embezzlement, forgery ect.). I was the first detective in my agencys 100 (+) year history to be exclusively work fraud cases. Therefore I had to develop a system from the ground up. Very much an OJT (On the Job Training) situation.

The other cooler detectives took to calling me Checkman. Instead of getting pissy I decided to claim it as my own.

I'm 5'6", balding,wear glasses,married for 22 years and a father of two. I am anything, but twisted steel and sex appeal. So instead of a cool name like Cold Steel 45 or Talon 76 I went with Checkman. :D

Gunmaster45. Not too hard to figure out, I made the username when I was 14 and dumb enough to think I was a "master" of guns, and 45 is of course because I like .45s. I used to talk to my ex-girlfriend over AIM with a similar name, and she wouldn't ever call me John, she called me Gun. Made me feel soooo cool. :D

I have seen this team used and used it myself in credits. The team is used for the key armorer on the show when there is more than one on the crew. I have been Key Armorer on at least two shows.
