When in a really small place, around corners, this kind of configuration makes it ideal for shooting in such a situation. You aim right in front of you, not with the iron sights, but with the general direction. If a hostile target is close enough, aiming from the shoulder is mute point.

I think the front vertical pistol grip is awkward to hold and makes it hard to pump sometimes. I find the flat and ridged pump on my Cruiser works fine. I might put a good quality laser on it though so I can aim somewhat without the need of a stock. I'd personally prefer a folding stock, but I live in good old New York. :rolleyes:
