I just took an 8-hour class and am now certified as a crewmember on black-powder artilery by the American Civil War Artilery Association. Trained on a 10-pounder Parrott rifled gun, fired it twice (blanks).

There wasn't one. Vortex was a basic MH-53 Pave Low. I left a comment on the site telling the blog author that.
