Some kind of Smith & Wesson, I don't know which one.

Actually, the P99 looks like the UMAREX blank-firing model. The trigger guard is recessed in a lot further than a normal P99 1st gen. MPM has a picture of one on the site.

I know my P99s.

Kar 98k?

Can only see half of the picture, but from the front sight protectors its a Czech Vz.24.

Anyone else think that this "M16A1" has the rear sight of an M16A2 or is it just me?

Yournamehere 12-03-2009 01:18 AM

Yep, that's got the adjustable rear sight assembly. In that case, it's either an M16A2 modeled rifle with A1 handguards, or this airsoft gun I saw a while back that was supposed to be a "Vietnam M16A1", but thad the A2sights. What movie is this from, this is interesting.

Land of the Dead

I also think I see a brass deflector as well.

AdAstra2009 12-03-2009 02:04 AM

heres another view of the same rifle
http://www.imfdb.org/images/4/4d/LOTDa22.jpg
And I think this one also has it.

I see. They had a few different M16s in Land of the Dead but I didn't notice the M16A2 with the A1 guards. Kinda weird. It could be that airsoft gun like I said, or they just swapped out the guards to pay homage to the other Romero movies where they had M16A1s or copies.

Also, does this means you're redoing the Land of the Dead page?

AdAstra2009 12-03-2009 03:49 AM

I actually have already finished redoing it.
Land of the Dead was the first page that I capped and later on I realize that it was kind of sloppy -so I redid it.

About the M16A2 with A1 handguards, I actually noticed it by accident when I was deleting all of the screencaps in my pics folder.

AT-4? Capped from Blessed by Fire, maybe an anachronism, last cap for the article.

AdAstra2009 12-03-2009 08:36 PM

Yes it's an AT4 and it is correct for the setting.

AT4 was invented in the 1960s and it was/is in use by the Argentine military.

Although the AT-4 existed in the time period, it is still an anachronism because the Argentine Army hadn't adopted it yet. It also appears that they never used any disposable rocket launchers during the Falklands War, only 90mm and 105mm recoiless rifles.

Thatīs right, iīll upload the cap to the page. And today, only the IMARA (equivalent to the marines) and some regiments use the AT-4, the rest of them use the olds Instalazas, the M-72 Law and the Mara.

Anyone else think the shotgun left of the CR-21s is an Armscor M30?

I have never been able to identify the weapon under the M4 in this picture. It is from Babylon AD. When I first did the page I labled it unknown, which someone then claimed it was a Spas 15 which it clearly is not.

I would really like to lable this weapon correctly.

It looks kind of like a semi auto shotgun. Looks very similar to the Spas 12 with a fixed pistol grip stock, except the forend starts at the reciver.

I find it odd they would use a weapon that is so unknown and then just throw it in the trunk.

One last thought maybe it is a toy or a modified airsoft gun.

Looks like the handguard of an Akdal MKA 1919.

Gunner313 01-21-2010 04:06 PM

No one has a guess!

This gun has been haunting me for about a year.

Yournamehere 01-21-2010 06:55 PM

It's has to be a SPAS-12 with a low capacity tube.
