Here's the rest of the fight:

Rocco took his free hand and punched Greg in the stomach.

Ven a mi, hermano!” Rocco shouted, kneeing him the groin. Greg had experienced pain far more agonizing than being hit the testicles. To him, it felt like a paper cut. He dodged Rocco’s next punch and delivered an uppercut under his chin. He then slide behind Rocco and locked him in a stranglehold. He almost had Rocco unconscious until he felt a sharp pain in the back of his head. He immediately fell down and went out like a light.

We should either describe or find pictures of each character's gear (vest, fatigues, holsters, boots, gloves, etc) and/or civvies so that we will all have an accurate mental image

Swordfish941 04-22-2011 12:27 AM

Here is Van Zyl's gear that Smithy sent me:

Camo (Ciskei pattern): http://tridentmilitary.com/store1/im...ei-shirt-b.jpg

I have an idea for a member of the Camp's security. His name is Jensen and is a former member of the SAS. He carries a Heckler & Koch G36C fitted with a G36E style carry handle and a SIG P228 as a sidearm.

k9870 04-24-2011 11:24 PM

I wouldnt go with a c, there more a cop gun than a military gun, use a k.

He gets killed by mortar fire, separating the lower half of his torso from his upper part, which Rocco comments as being "fucked up".

I plan to get an FAL someday, so i can be a man among men and compete in 3 gun heavy metal.

That congo looks cool. I plan to get the dsa scope mount though, it allows you to use irons but i can mount a decent optic. then theres colors:

I've decided on a new sidearm for Johnny: A SIG-Sauer P226 E2

http://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/cata...e-detail-R.jpg

And here's another candidate for Johnny: Andrew Garfield

k9870 04-26-2011 04:13 PM

I need to try an e2, i like the slimmer grip since sigs always felt a bit fat but trigger reach was okay so the short trigger doesnt make much sense. I have no idea who andrew garfield is.

He was in The Social Network, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and is playing the new Spiderman.

BTW, here's the song that Greg is going to sing:

I have an idea for a new rifle for Van Zyl. It's a Mk 14 Mod 1 fitted with a M68 Aimpoint scope, 3x magnifier, AN/PEG-15 IR designator, and a Surefire FA762K Suppressor. Here are the components of it:

Dude how about this:

The receiver of his FAL is damaged during a battle with the militia, rendering it unable to fire (the same thing happens to Greg's R5). He takes the Mk 14 out of the armory and uses it during the assault on the Militia camp. Greg replaces his R5 with an AKM fitted with a AK-74 style muzzle break. Is it a deal?

FAL > AR10 > M14 on the scale of cool, in my opinion

Damn you! *shakes fist*

Swordfish941 05-07-2011 05:56 AM

Anyway, I haven't written anything down in the book for a while? Any ideas?

S&Wshooter 05-07-2011 05:56 AM

Those tacticool M14 mods look unnatural and awkward

k9870 05-07-2011 12:01 PM

The FAL is the RIGHT ARM OF THE FREE WORLD. Beats the ar-10 anyday. The mk14 modded out is a dmr rifle. The FAL, a battle rifle. FALs can take abuse day in day out, with good ergos and good combat accuracy. Theres a reason its the most common issue rifle in the world. I cant wait to buy a DSA 18 inch:D Nowe i just need a job....

Guys, please. I'm giving Van Zyl the FAL for the majority of the book. Now can we all kindly move on from this?

k9870 05-07-2011 01:54 PM

Okay, just remember me and smith love FALs.

Gotcha. ;)

Anyway, I have an idea of giving Johnny a Walther P99 Anti-Stress as a Secondary sidearm, kept in a chest rig on his vest. He gets it from Sharlto Blair, the arms dealer. Plus, I've decide to change Rocco's FAL to an L1A1 SLR. Do you guys approves?

k9870 05-07-2011 02:37 PM

p99s are cool.

Swordfish941 05-07-2011 05:15 PM

I'm stuck between two submachine guns for Katie should I give her:

1. A Heckler & Koch MP5K-PDW fitted with a UMP style stock, M68 Aimpoint scope, sound suppressor, and two magazines clipped together.

Or

2. A Heckler & Koch MP7A1 fitted witha C-more sight and 40 round magazine.

k9870 05-07-2011 05:16 PM

Way easier to feed the mp5.

Set up the story, dont just have the mercs strolling around doing nothing. Get the plot rolling.
