XDs are also faily light being polymer, I like the service better than the M for feel and balance though. Its a nice pistol. And I absolutely hate glock, which should tell ya something.

XD's just aren't me. I can see why people like them, but upon handling one, it just didn't spark any interest for me

Im not a platic gun guy, but the XD impressed me, nice night sights on some models, good feel in hand balance, trigger is a bit longer and heavier than i like but smooth and consistent unlike the creepy two stage glock deal. And i heard the springer action job their custom shop does makes it feel great.
