No, no, no, no, and NO!!!

The Stand is one of my favorite books and I won't stand for it being butchered on the big screen.

Wow, I was right. Blended is a fucking hunk of shit yet it's doing well at the box office.

I'm not sure how they plan on bringing characters back to life here.

Night Of The Living Dead (1990) had the updated screenplay written by Romero I believe & was directed by Tom Savini...does that count? Either I love that version it kicks ass, still bummed the Dawn Of The Dead remake wasn't its sequel.

Recently bought Lone Survivor & Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit

Why do I feel like I'm the only person in the entire world who actually likes that movie?

Apparently you weren't alone if they're filming back to back sequels.

Well, budget reasons don't really count. There are plenty of examples of filmmakers remaking short films or extremely low budget films they made in the past. Michael Mann redid LA Takedown as Heat, and PT Anderson expanded his short The Dirk Diggler Story into Boogie Nights.

This should be interesting. Good cast, good directing, good production values.

You mean aside from all the people who tried to top themselves because reality isn't as "perfect" as Pandora?

This actually looks pretty kickass. I was going to complain about Shia LaBeouf being in it, but looks like he's not going to be playing an unbearable, annoying pansy.
